There is always magic online, but that has its own set of flaws and costs. Or Topdeck Moba, which is totally acceptable. | ||

They still end up having invested into a collection which while valueable still constitutes spending money on the game. However, the transferable nature of the cards means that their value is extract-able after a fashion, which makes it a lot more reasonable than certain electronic-only competitors. | ||

Of course they spend a small amount of money and cherry pick the tournaments they decide to enter. But in generally they don't spend money on any drafting events with the small prize pots and knowing which cards to trade/sell. | ||
