oracle has the same problem as dazzle where good initiators will just jump him and force him to use his ult on himself, and i dont think the rest of his kit is as potentially good as weave

his disarm isnt universally useful, but it counters the fuck out of certain carries before bkb

I still called the fact that he was way overhyped on release. The numbers look impressive, but overall if the ultimate didn't have all of that extra stuff then it would just be really really bad.

Though maybe less uptime on it couldn't hurt. Having it available multiple times in a fight seems a bit excessive.

i honestly think oracle is fine where he is, even though he's on the volatile side of "if he works well in a comp he works really well, and he's super meh otherwise" kinda like huskar or pa or something

even when opponents dont buy detection i never feel like the ult is like brokenbroken like earthspirit's kit

probalby one of the biggest things about oracle is that his ult purges purges negative status effects, and then you can build off of that (it purges bat ult right?) So if someone gets lassoed and they focus him, you can use this ult, mek gets dropped and wd happens to be nearby to heal...well...

hes just not the kind of hero you can pick and dictate how the game is gonna go.
I think hes really strong in the context of a coordinated team but not so much in pubs.

yea the best thing about oracle's ult for me is using it as a pretty long range purge that's easier to cast than lc purge and abaddon purge

It also has a weird interaction where if an axe call while under Oracle ult, the enemy can get 1 free action before being frozen in place for the remaining duration of axe call.

Also I am pretty sure Axe Call doesn't stop Sun Ray. Need to fully test that though.
