I keep seeing PoE-adjacent folks get really excited about Lost Ark and so I've watched a decent amount of it and I don't get it? Like the combat does not look particularly fun to me and outside of the combat I'm not really sure what's supposed to be appealing about it. Although I've never really gotten into an MMO so maybe that explains a lot.

I feel its just the novelty of something new and a good marketing campaign. In two months the next overhyped thing will be in the spotlight and only the hardcore fans will stick to Lost Ark.

I don't know, people have actually been waiting 8 years for lost ark to release in the west, lots of eu people even played on the Russian servers via vpn. I think they can easily get a robust playerbase in eu and na.

not bad but the end did drag out too much for my taste.
gotten side tracked a lot with quest aside the critical path. did not feel like filler. dropkicking is so fun :D
