https://www.amazon.com/Philly-War-Zone-Growing-Battleground/dp/1465350780/ a lot of people who seem to know more than I chalked it up to "white flight" wherein a significant portion of white people moved out of certain philly areas, then philly's governmental systems were neglected if not defunded entirely, poverty sunk in, and then the areas were left extremely destitute and what you see now in a way it gives racists ammo to say "white flight"! white people left and it went to shambles, look at that, just more proof! when in reality, white people leaving wasn't the problem, it was realistically 'the money' leaving and being pulled out. really damn sad to see | ||

I've never seen that happen before. Has it? Also, I'm glad about "based" on there. They were technically serviceable, but they gave the most idiotic instruction to their translator ("do it as literally as possible") and wound up with some weird, weird sentences. Trails of Azure, where they didn't do this, was finished like 2 years before Zero due to it. (They basically edited the literal translations into proper english - which means that a few lines got mistranslated). | ||
