I know you're a fan of the books so you might be interested in checking it out. I'm not trying to have huge expectations for the show, but the trailer was a good start. The showrunner is apparently an insane fan of the books, which is a good sign. | ||

Yeah I've been following it's progress and saw the trailer. I wasn't super excited, but I was also mostly just watching the trailer to see what I could recognize from the books. I'll definitely be checking it out when it's available though. Prolly have to steal my brother's prime account xd. | ||

At first it was because it was hilariously bad, but now it's becoming apparent that Amazon has some giant trolls as directors. It's basically two hours of baiting conservatives, with very poor attempts at concealing it (at one point the princess says we need to replace coal with wind power...). It's still a terrible movie, but I'm understanding how it got made now. (It has the same director as Pitch Perfect , which was a surprise) And yes, the reviews reflect it. edit: Ok, here's my new theory. It's a very specific gift from someone to their niece or nephew, specifically to annoy their conservative parents/grandparents by making them have a favorite movie with lines that piss them off. It's basically the ultimate p6 drumset gift. | ||
