but of course, its one of the most stupid/brilliant game ever
I think I'm going to attempt a 15 rune win in Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup. I posted a long time ago about my first 3 rune win that I got after many attempts and I've started to get the itch for more.
Compared to 3 rune wins, 15 rune wins are pretty much the exponential step up in difficulty that it sounds like so it's going to be a serious mountain to climb.

DCSS 15 rune attempt #1 has perished in the Swamp. My Gargoyle Fighter of Makhleb was blasted with a bolt of ice by a bog man after being weakened by hornet-riding spriggans. If I had known that bog men could cast ice spells I would have worn the cold-resistant plate mail I found instead of a shiny artifact scale mail that was only good against physical damage. I also took on way to much risk by trying to use a dangerous and quick method for separating groups of enemies instead of the slow and sure method. It's a bit disappointing because I found a slot-optimal piece of plate armor in an early shop that would have carried me a pretty far had I lived long enough to afford it.. Rip
I've been trying to kill the final boss in Sythetik on the Hyper Adrenaline mode, which is just "all damage is increased by 300%", you deal with enemies way easier but at the same time on wrong step and you're dead, I almost did it twice but died on the last boss eeach time due to my weapon overheating.
I've also been playing a bit of dota in thast week or so, I have no idea what the aghanim's shards do on most of the heroes but overall the patch feels fun
Little information but a statement from Ubisoft to continue development. No release date and the man whose brainchild the series is has left the company. Because he's a toxic piece of shit, according to kotaku.
If I had to choose between paying BGE2 in 2021 with him on board or in 2024 with better and healthier culture for Devs and other employees, I'd happily go for the latter.
