I just posted it in chat as a joke and somehow he saw it, which was surprising since it used to be that he doesn't interact with chat. I doubt many people saw the bet, but given that he is queuing as support and stealing roles, the self-fulfilling prophecy part was kind of there | ||

I didn't recognize him at the time and gave him some advice and then some people took a selfie w/ him later and I was like 'are you famous lol' and he waved me off and we went back to climbing he's nice! | ||

We're sticking with retail. Some of the stuff in Classic that he remembers not being fun are probably still lurking around, so we decided to give retail a go. And it's better for the causal kind of play that we wanna do. I do like the design space of Classic though, it lets Blizzard occupy Classic without needing to affect retail, the way that OSRS and RS3 handle it. I'm curious how well it'll sell when the casuals like me stop playing, but I get the feeling that if I don't already love Classic, I'm not the audience anyway. | ||

Also most fun i've had with WoW since wotlk. To me BFA is without a singular doubt the worst iteration of the game, worse than even WoD with its garrison bullshit. Really impressive that they went from the best recent expansion in Legion to the worst. | ||
