Literally the most fun I've had with any game in years. Also most fun i've had with WoW since wotlk. To me BFA is without a singular doubt the worst iteration of the game, worse than even WoD with its garrison bullshit. Really impressive that they went from the best recent expansion in Legion to the worst. BFA raiding is great at least, and the dungeons are decent for M+. Everything else is pretty poorly designed though, and I could completely understand 99% of the player base feeling like there is nothing to do but do but log in and finish their dailies for almost no reason. Ya if you don’t mythic raid or m+ more than one 10 a week then bfa is pretty bad. It’s quite ironic that while the primary complaint is that modern wow is too ‘casual friendly’ it’s actually turning out the opposite. There is absolutely zero casual content that feels rewarding to casuals. (Things like grinding pearls or ap are actually only rewarding to mythic raiders who hate it. Rofl) classic on the other hand is literally all casual content but it actually feels rewarding. (On the other hand dungeons are actually boring as fuck, and based on watching streams raids are no better. Heh) there’s just legit no mechanics whatsoever compared to modern high end wow. Anyways all that said since I’m done with all my raider chores (ap/benthic/etc) I play classic now in the times when I’d otherwise do that and only do actual content on retail. (If it matters I did originally start playing wow back at the tail end of classic although I did not raid back then and ya I’ve spent a good portion of the last 14 years playing this game.) Yo ith any discussion yet on Lover? I’m not really decided yet but it’s a million times better than reputation which I listened too once and swore off tswift for a year. Sucks to hear that WoW isn't great for casuals like me though. thanks for nothing BlizzardI've asked around and the girl who rejected me in undergrad said she wasn't in love with the album, but it might grow on her. I still haven't had a listen yet. Is it just 1989 2? Its only weakness is that the first chapters drag a little, and the who I would think of as the real main character doesn't show up til like 20 hours in. Also has basically 0 relationship to previous ys games(which is normal for the series). Dragged the same way Trails in the Sky dragged? Because I like dragging like that. That was a lot of fun. Unleashing I'd rather not ask for an exhaustive list, but what in particular did you not enjoy about BFA? They're by the same company. So yeah, pretty much. The Ys before 7 were really minimal on the story, so it wasn't until 8 and memories that the storyline was really a part of the focus. The downside to the series is that there is a silent protagonist who is pretty boring, even for a silent protagonist. Some people have said Ys is the origin of arpgs, and they're pretty good at them. 8 is sorta hard, while previous ones were very hard. Trails 3 has a turbo button built in, so you can zoom through battles. I play turn based jrpgs real fast myself. Wait which button was this? How'd I miss it? Also Passive you might wanna play Trails 1 just because Trails 2/3 require you to know about both the events of the first few games and the characters. And Trails 2/3 both have huge casts which they're not good at re-introducing iirc. I know some franchises try to reintroduce things as necessary (think Harry Potter books) but Trails really doesn't care 2 cents about that. I would also beg you to only speed up the combat in Trails 1 since you might miss out on the incredible amount of work that went into world building and atmosphere. Trails 3 could be fun if you're quite literally willing to not bother with paying attention to the story since it's the most combat oriented one as well. It was also the shortest one I think. But if you're not paying attention to the story of Trails I'd argue you might just wind up with a pretty unfulfilling experience. A lot of other JRPGs exist and many have better core gameplay if I had to guess. It's in the settings for all of them now on pc: https://www.siliconera.com/2017/08/07/turbo-mode-added-legend-heroes-trails-sky-pc-entries/ I think it's also part of the EVO vita ports but I can't remember super well. LMAO can't believe I missed it. Trails in the Sky replay soon™.

Maybe I'll get a monthly membership at the gym and try that out. I hate weights and stuff so idk if that's gonna be good but I could also just so bodY weight exercises and stretch in that hour.

It is part of the work hazard to be honest. If i learned anything being a programmer for all the years it is all about stress management, time management and practically how much little improvement you gain overtime so that things get easier despite the challenges of the job never stops getting harder and more hectic. On top of the uhm being smart enough to do the job thing. Work-life balance is essential on mental health it feels like. What i learned so far is never neglect taking rests also don't make your life just all about work.
