Edit: Ok just tested it. If wisp tethers to kotl and kotl chakras wisp, its essentially double chakra...didn't know that was intended to work that way or if that worked in dota1. One of those obscure things.
It doubles pretty much all regen, so it shouldn't be surprising.

Yeah, saw a member of complexity going for it and thought it was an interesting choice. Was just thinking of the items for it and how the skadi could add more abilities to survive with the slow before bkb and getting ven orb early can make for some great harass.
But of course getting mbk could choose to be far superior as well. Just one of those things I am thinking of trying to see how it goes.

All Dota 2 players will be able to watch live games plus any replays starting tonight and lasting until Monday. Just in time to watch Mouz, CLG, Na’Vi and POTM Bottom duke it out.

yeah, bkb to me depends on the othe rteams makeup and if they are able to stop me from ult'ing in time. The added hp and damage is nice but just depends. Blitz is a bad influence since he almost never goes bkb

my experience with Skadi was always that it's a great item but so darn expensive and the buildup is really clunky so it's almost never worth it. Great for Morph tho.

I have noticed its difficulty in getting. Even with Sf's ability to take down waves with ease, I find myself having difficulty getting last item. I mean, getting orb early helps nicely, and getting first ultimate orb is ok. But getting a second one just feels like so much. It is an expensive item, that is for sure. But at least it is nice and segmented and not bulky like Bf.

I think it's really very decent on him if you're financially fit to get it fast enough. It destroys melee carries that rely on BKB/magic immunity to get stuff done (e.g. naix), and the stats are luxurious. The hp/mp buff is a bit underestimated imo.
One of my past favourite SF players, xiaoxiaofang, habitually rushed it as his first big item after treads/bottle/wand in pubs.

Been playing Sd all day trying it out and it works pretty well. Unfortunately, I had a dumb match where team fed Ns like crazy. Pretty much it was Gg, but once I got skadi, things started to turn around. The team was still too under leveled so we lost, but managed to hold out a lot longer. I remember the ns even asking me how I got skadi so fast (after killing him) lol.

This. It's only really a good item when your pace is near out-of-control. In games where Lothar's/Dagger doesn't make much sense it's often a great pickup after Manta if noone's stalling your tempo. You typically can't get if you've gone dagger/bkb as well because that progression will leave you lacking in damage for a period and eventually lacking itemslots for damage items.
