Lesser chance they don't speak English if the IP is 100% in the states. It's ruining the experience to where I don't want to play. A guaranteed 2-3 players do not speak English on the U.S. server per game. It's a joke. I don't care what language you speak - but play on your own server.
And remove cross-server play? No I don't think so.
Also some places don't really have a better server than yours. So just use the in-game pings/auto chat to communicate. If it doesn't work, well, it happens.

I seriously doubt that you lose games because of the language barrier. How about the games where people speak English? Do they work out well because you can communicate super hard? Doubt it. You just want to be able to boss them around. I'm sure many of the people you're having a language barrier with probably understand English, they just don't want to talk to you.

i dunno man its pretty hard to play when the 4stack with you is only speaking chinese. Like its hard to just like, work with them because fuck man, i don't know what they're saying

How do i quit my job for dota. Join a team go pro simple as that. Save up money then quit your job, use that money to live off of, get 4 other dedicated players, train 24/7, win ti5. Easy as pie.
On another note, does anyone know any leagues or inhouses happening frequently?

It's generally agreed that the 5 English Lineup is really broken, and Icefrog should nerf it.
In other words: yes. The game based on teamwork is easier if you can communicate with your team. Who would have thought it. Not you, clearly.

I approve of this line of thought Comeh, less crowding in the harem.

I still think the simplest way to deal with the language thing is to have a "queued for language he doesn't speak" report button, that doesn't send them to low prio but just bans them from queuing for the language of the games they get reported in.
False reports aren't any more of an issue than with the current report system. It's even one of the easier ones to validate if you're into that.
The problem is that It's obviously something Valve just doesn't care about, which is kind of strange.

Then get a fucking team. Random players are going to do their own thing and probably feed anyway.
