Darer had a pretty versatile lineup, they would switch around roles, but generally NS and Santa were the go-to supports. Darer is pretty much dead atm. NS is the best support player in foreign scene. How is that even relevant to the post you quoted??? i tried to say Darer dead because best support player leave from team :/ I mean it doesnt matter when they switch roles etc.
guess i was unsuccessful :D

They use 1st-5th position. For example, the trilane AM would be 1st position, getting all of the farm in a lane, mid storm would be 2nd position, sidelane WR would be 3rd, support ES would be 4th (because he will eventually be left alone to get his blink dagger), and support CM would be 5th (wards+boots 50 mins in).

^ Oh yeah these too. Nothing like winning a game and there's an enemy sniper just chilling in the hole

They still use those terms, just more generally.
There's a system where they number the heroes in a lineup from 1 to 5 on a match-by-match basis. Position #1 would be your dps carry and primary farmer, who's allocated the most resources (farm, kills, protection). Position #5 would be like a roaming hard support, who would defer cs to everyone else on his team and buy courier/smoke/wards (maybe split costs with #4, #3). Semicarry/ganker/initiator/etc. go somewhere in between 1 and 5.
It's pretty flexible and you can change it on the go depending on how well/badly players are doing.

Skip arrows completely if your team is loaded with disables, worked for me (once).
|
drow sucks slow build is probably best in pubs, it often nets you free kills cus people are always out of position
stats aura is stronger when your team can disable things for you so you can hit them but that doesn't really happen in pubs. it also beefs up her hp a little which can help a bit with survivability
drow's pretty strong midgame just after picking up treads (+ hotd) + manta + bkb, but she tapers off relatively quickly so try to secure some kind of lead before lategame rolls around

1 point is always good for orbwalking.

Depends on what skill level you're playing at. Max frost arrows is good around the same level that shadowblade is good.

And 3 points in stats/aura could be the difference between dying and escaping

Also probably the same level where you are playing Drow and expecting to do well XD

stats aura only gives 1~2 extra points into stats. to be fair you usually pick up stats a bit earlier than when you go frost arrows, but a few points into stats is very rarely going to save your life; it helps a bit but in general if you're getting ganked properly you're gonna die
u only need 2~3 points into frost arrow to kill people who are out of position, but lv1 slow means they can just walk away
and lothars isn't that bad of an item. it delays your manta/bkb by a bit but most of the time it doesn't really matter

hmmm i decided to practice the shit outa mirana... realize how easy it is to aim arrows with the new engine -_-
need pro tips on item builds

I've been trying out Leshrac lately and having a blast, I love getting bloodstone on him but I'm trying to figure out a good general item build for him. I started out getting a bracer and an null talisman but I think that delays the Bloodstone too much, and I can't think of any cheaper builds that give me the mana regen necessary to dish out damage.
go arcane boots first. you can disassemble them and use the blue ball again. that should keep you going. max stun and edict first. ult after you have your bloodstone. after that it's up to your team. bkb, sheepstick, shivas all work.
