I don't know why on earth he would walk in to hit the 2nd tier mid tower when it's fortified. With Black Hole, dire would have won that fight. Later on he turns back after seeing three heroes on him at Dire's tier mid 2 and dies. Buys back, gets dagger, BKBs, and no black hole. Wasted 4k gold with two deaths.

This mean that they will take the total dmg you dealt + HP healing and take that % compare to the overall dmg dealt by heroes inside the game. Sum all the average of the percentage and put it on performance bar. This explain my few first game playing chen after the bar system implemented: dealt most dmg in game due to using creep -> 5 bars. Similar to my lycan and qop etc... The thing is with this system, non-healing support will have a huge disadvantage. Idk, still testing

I have a couple heroes just barely below 2 bars. The way it happened though was I have a few heroes I only did 1-2 games on that were at 2 bars, and then as my MMR went up their performance slowly went down just a tiny bit. Also on PL is it better to rush radiance than go for vlads -> difusal -> manta?

It does take into account your individual performance. I believe it factors in K/D/A, GPM and XPM while also comparing these relative to the rest of your team. Someone mentioned this is why Sing_Sing has the highest MMR, because he often plays with stream viewers and his stats will generally be better than his viewers.

What's the point of having a ranking system where the bottom-most ranking doesn't exist lol. I suppose we have to keep casual players in the game though. I do. Batrider 45 games 25% winrate, 1.9 bars. Oh wait, I lied. My bats apparently just above 2. It's huskar that's 1.9 Oh, and NB, my CM is my second highest ranked hero (over 4 bars with Veno being higher). I believe they use different metrics for each hero because my CM is almost always the lowest damage in the game. Also mmr is really random. I've gone from playing against EG to playing with people who had never played their hero before in the span of 2 games. Granted those people actually did really well for it being their first hero, it's just a little off.

I'm not actually so sure they use different metrics for each hero, it took me a long time to get a full performance bar on SF, even if I'd go like 10/1/10 every game, while it took me 1 good game where I went like 7/0/11 on venomancer for the bar to completely fill up, presumably because it's not that common for venomancer to go get good streaks, while it's a lot more frequent for SF. Agree with mmr being stupidly random though, like a week ago I had back to back to back games where I was in a game with synderen, then the next game I was in a game with mantis, and the follow game I was in a game with a guy who had a total of 26 matchmaking games played on his account. It has to be those people queueing with a high rated friend or something, but it's still feels pretty weird, I agree.

But otherwise you have the right of it - radi first, then you get heart+manta+diffusal in any order you deem fit (its situational). I believe MMR is based only on win or lose. Otherwise it would encourage fountain farming, KSing, and avoiding death to the detriment of the team (ie playing veno often its better to just suicide and ult than to play safe and only hit 1 or 2 with your ult). Or it could encourage players to feed at the end in order to tank their MMR if they want to smurf.

It's really annoying because it happens more than once a game. This fixes it but you have to do it every 15 minutes of hte game or so from my recollections. They say that the metric is relative to others in your skill range. So they probably mean relative to your mmr? Veno is my second highest ranked and I feed like maelk (.6 kd and 2.64 ka/d). My cm is 1.58 k+a/d with .33 kd and 48% winrate. So they're REALLY not using kills as a metric for her.
