It's kind of weird that his #1 every week is always a montage over a long game.

So NS and Dread are leaving, and the man with no team loyalty whatsoever, Kuroky, is rumored to be joining in.

For example, if they are dire, they will skip bottom lane in that area between the enemy's furthest and 2nd tower. LoL? Attack dazzle at level one with two heroes and axe can't do anything to help aside from hit you. Then kill axe when he's at 75% hp from tanking the first creep wave.

Where did this image of DK being a late-game hard carry that does nothing without items start? He's definitely powerful lategame, but that doesn't rule out the possibility of having a strong midgame. DK has: - Very safe reliable laning; capable of achieving stalemate or better in most solo lane matchups. - Some of the best baseline pushing capability in the game - Reliable point disable, reliable AoE - Extremely good baseline survivability, while also being ranged in dragon form. He's a fantastic midgame teamfighter, even with just Power Treads and Janggo.

FTFY. Every hero can be varying degrees of useful with varying amount of farm. DK, like broodmother, can effectively solo push a lane once he hits 6 and has soulring, but DK isn't such a lightweight and can actually contribute to gank damage with dragonbreath. DK also doesn't give away your team's plans by his pick because he can be useful in the early-midgame for things besides pushing. He has a long duration, long range stun, high armor, and aoe damage with solid late-midgame and lategame carry potential.

He's a fantastic midgame teamfighter, even with just Power Treads and Janggo. Not to discredit his lategame, but I usually fear him more in the midgame with proper leveling than I do in the later game stages - the time of the game where BKB's are less common, thus making his nuke and stun more potent is what I tend to worry about. I just feel like he has more physical presence in a teamfight in the midgame (not quite early midgame, but after that). Edit: not to mention his pushing power with level 1 dragon, level 4 firebreath and a soul ring...yeesh.
