Often replays from older tournaments are corrupted, but anything that's available should work fine.

Well it works both ways. You can also Duel someone who's way stronger than you but have your allies buttrape with you.

Conceptually it is pretty funny that a skill called Duel is best used as a skill for setting up 2v1s/3v1s.
But conversely a skill/skillset that only exists to 1v1 people would have very little practical use at any reasonable level of play.

Well, it would be significantly powerful if it either lasted longer and forced a true 1v1, or had a 10-15 second CD and forced a true 1v1.
but even then it'd only be used on like a 4th position LC who just builds vanguard and jumps on their initiator to keep them out of a fight for half a fight. it'd be like a weird fiend grip.
If LC had her gladiators unite ult from wraith night she's be an incredible team fighter though.

I went full panic mode when one of those Fungal Treants came at me when I was waiting for first rune spawn as jungle Doom and ate it, made my jungling a bit slower.
Just didn't realise what the fuck it was at first, looked like Necro creep or something rather than a Treant. Felt pretty stupid soon afterwards once I realised what I had done.

So I just played a game against an LC who went blademail and I couldn't hit her if I bkb'ed before she initiated the duel and she had her Blademail on.
Is that how it's supposed to happen?

the duel thing seems to be bugged in so many ways, you can be pulled out of the duel by certain abilites and then you are running back to the duel but you can't fight back if someone attacks you other than the duel partner.
It also doesn't seem to block a lot of stuff it is supposed to block, they shouldn't have released a character that feels so broken.

You can but you don't get their abilities, although you could at one point.

Thats how i expected it to work, i guess i just assumed when they became un-midas-able they would be immune to devour based stuff too, even though transmute and devour are different base spells.
