The only non-Alliance player considered for best perfomance (over Loda) should be BurNing.

Aside from sometimes questionable play on Clinkz and Mirana in new DK, BurNing always delivered as a carry.

Aside from sometimes questionable play on Clinkz and Mirana in new DK, BurNing always delivered as a carry. this is exactly why i feel he improved as a player. i was one of Xboct's biggest critics when i saw him single handedly throw games like a certain EG player would earlier this year but in Ti3 he silenced critics and has shown that his aggressive playstyle pays off more than it doesn't

People tend to exaggerate with TC bashing, he carried old Liquid pretty hard, I remember that. Additionally, I'll be extremely disappointed if the "Most Improved Team" award won't be handled to Fnatic.

Out of all the mid players up for vote, he's been by far the most consistent through the whole year. Everyone else up for vote had at least a period of several months where their play was just not all that good.

Vanskor and net/fy over Dai/DD/ddc/SanSheng/ are pretty questionable, too.

Yao's laning fundamentals are much better than xiao8's but his gank sense and overall feel for the tempo of the game are poorer. He will tend toward fairly passive, farmy mids and play in a way that has fairly limited game impact until the pushing/teamfighting stage of the game, which ultimately is not really an acceptable way to play mid in either this version or in 6.78. He's been a consistent player through the year, but he's also been consistent in this glaring flaw which puts him out of the running in my mind for best mid player of the year. Xiao8's gank execution and direction of the game is fantastic, but his fundamentals on lane are really sloppy. It's too common for him to get solo killed or die to obvious ganks, even though he is much better at playing from behind than Yao is.
