Tread or brown boot are better since lion need hp and tread switching helps when trying to ult or stun or hex for second round.
Or disassemble the tranq into FS/ mek is all good. Problem with tranq if you got it disabled, you are pretty much easy target/ dead.
My 2cent. Mid lion can go naked boots + blink + bottle early on.

When I played SC2 I found it to be a lot more mind numbing, while Dota was always more emotionally spiky.

So the hero itself is very basic to play after you got the hang of the razes, which requires some practice. Still a very enjoyable hero, owning noobs mid is timeless.
SF is very hard to play against certain heroes. Tinker makes his life miserable early, as does QoP, Puck, and quite a few other heroes who have alot of burst. TA also should come out ahead, as well as Batrider. SF if played perfectly can win against these match-ups (other than maybe TA or other direct counters), but it's very rare anyone plays SF mid without any mistakes.

dota2 games are way more rage inducing. Losing 40-60 minutes games is nothing compared to the 20-30 minute sc2 games.

National Electronic Sports Tournament (NEST) is up I think. LGD will be playing in Sept 1 according to their facebook.

A lot of tournaments starting in september. Everything should be back to normal by mid-end sept.
Then at least 2 Lan tournaments in october.

Tranquil boots are very bad except in a few specific cases IMO. If you're on a support char you are more likely to die from burst during a gank than being harassed down, in which case you lose the move speed, the heal will be cancelled, and the only thing helping will be the little bit of armour...
KoTL should stay on brown boots till late game, and if you're hard support Lion you can get Arcane boots for your mates.

Ok, so I have been working on my mid play, specifically with ganking characters like Puck. I have been having real luck in my games with everyone except for Storm Spirit. For some reason I cannot get him off the ground and to the sweet spot in farming. I constantly run out of mana or just do not do enough damage. What is a good, standard item progression people like for him through a match? I can’t really find a guide that doesn’t just tell me to buy Bloodstone every game. I know Bloodstone is good for SS, but if I am having trouble farming early, I don't think I will get it fast enough.
