Skywrath can be pretty difficult to lane vs, if he overextends you can absolutely get a kill on him though, storm will probably outfarm you but you should be in no danger of dying before level 6 unless you get ganked or he gets very good runes, and krob should be really quite easy as long as you dodge the crypt swarms.
Pretty difficult against skywrath? If you get any farm at all and have less than 2 deaths the skywrath player is awful.
Storm and krob you can go even with though. It really comes down to which side ganks mid for who wins lane. Either way once you get an advantage against either you should be good from there.

The amount of effort required for Skywrath to kill SF at 2 or 3 is ridiculously low, and if SF dies once, the lane snowballs insanely hard off of Skywrath's level advantage.
If SF dies once in those early levels, he basically can't come back to lane.
EDIT: Storm vs. SF in 1-6 laning is fine. The problem is when Storm disappears from the map after level 6 and a support comes to hold mid. It just becomes ridiculously easy for SF to die if he shows himself in lane because Storm lead-off + support follow-up can 100->0 SF without time for a TP countergank. There has to be a support already waiting in the wings to be able to counter-gank that. So it means SF needs to farm well enough pre-6 that he can farm jungle comfortably after 6 (Treads + Bottle or close to it), because otherwise it's going to be frustrating to find lane farm without the risk of dying.

Yeah Skywrath is really hard. But my game snowballed out of control after I couldn't get much farm. I didn't die but sat by my tower too long.
I'm actually 0-4 for the day now. Got raped by SB coming from the side lanes.
I don't think I can restore my faith with playing SF again. Mid heroes tend to get flamed a lot so it's tough lol.
EDIT: Seriously though, what's up with the SB/Huskar/NP picks? It's literally every game is dictated by these heroes.

what you have against the space cow ?
anyway, furion got picked a lot because of Buldog, bara get picked a lot to counterpick furion and huskar is simply 6.77 drow level broken

>6.77 drow level broken yeah. Sure.
Anyhow, all of this is why i now que into AR/SD/RD games, more fun

If you play against a good timbersaw huskar is just a joke. Timber can be pretty ridiculous tbh now that people are getting a handle on him.

I'd take timbersaw to play against instead of Huskar or Bara... It ends up being a bad game always for me when those heroes are either on my team or opponent's...
If against, they totally rip you apart, but if in your team, they dive like rambo and get 1 kill on a support but die in return. Always like this.

Hey guys, i have a little problem, I cant figure out the exact space that needs to be clear for Neutral Camps to spawn.
I am often scared that when I counterward my pullspot that I actually block my own camp.
For example: Is it safe to counter ward above the treeline of the Radiant Pullspot? Will I block the Pullcamp or the Camp above it?
ive been looking for a Picture that lines them out but no luck so far ;<
Edit: Obviously I want to figure out a Counter-Ward spot so that I can find the Counterward, wether its on the left/right side or in the middle of the camp.
Edit2: For example, is there a way to set a Counter-Ward to see THESE 2 Wards without blocking a Camp of your own?
(The first pic apparently shows a Wardspot that blocks BOTH the marked and the pullcamp.

tbh, Barathrum is fucking nut in the pub meta right now. If i play 14 games a day, at least 9-10 of them has bara in it. A veteran bara would charge under cover of smoke/ good angle so wards doesnt do shit either(assuming you are in tryhard mm). But overall the biggest limitation of this bara meta is the hero block a lot of mid pick that doesnt have escape mechanism. We are talking about the like of SF, pudge, invoker, Skywrath... all impossible to play.
The only solution to barathrum is to group as 5 and proceed to farm starve if the enemy team has any decent counter push. Ofc its not an issue in competitive play where players could farm much better but in pub, individual heroes needs to meet a certain quota before they feel comfortable taking fight and shit like this is just annoying.
Huskar isnt that broken. When you start picking, just remember to not relying on magic damage line up too much otherwise huskar is an auto win. Plus in the current meta, most people just roll with Naix weaver SF so the magic resist isnt that big of a deal. As long as your supports know what they are doing, rotate and pick him off at the right time, huskar is pretty shit.

deward radiant side has 2 spots to get every ward the little dent in the ground to the upper right of ward in ur first pic then the chunk of rock above ur second one neither of those spots will block camps if camp doenst spawn then the ward is hidden in the trees

Like this? Each of them will see either blocking ward on their own?

Oh, okay. So I definetly need 2 Sentrys to deward, If i wanted to just use 1 ward i would need to block my own camp, right?
Thank you very much.

storm also solokills sf at lv6 as long as the sf doesn't have a full stick or treads

I'm done playing SF for now, but what should be my item build at start? Maybe that's where I'm getting fucked up too...

Well, make sure you're getting necromastery first. SF is basically useless until he can gain a few souls. In terms of items, I personally start with tango, salve, 2x branch, 2x slipper, although this isn't the best item start on him.
|
Best way to build SF is to get wraith band + 2 branches and get pooled regen from your supports. Bottle pool, tango pool, salve pool, whatever... it all works.

Do people actually pool in solo queue games? I've never actually asked for it because I assume it's not going to happen. Although in stacks I know a few who like to pool.

I always pool both in stacks and while doing solo queue. Pool is good, you can get the dollas for it.
