If you have a group of units selected, and press A, the cursor switches to where if you left click, you'd issue an attack command. If you then select the same or a different group of units via hotkey, it drops the attack command and switches you back to the normal selection cursor. However, in DotA 2, it retains your attack cursor meaning your next left-click is still going to be an attack order. I've mis-ordered my unit hundreds of times this way because on reflex from playing SC/WC3, I'm used to it dropping the attack cursor.

I wonder if Troll in CM will mean more Spirit Breaker picks

Yea, damn that shit is pretty annoying someone should report it and hopefully it gets fixed.
I hope the new selection boxes are like ...every other game out there from BG1 to SC2 zz. Would be fun to play meepo if it's fixed now.

Of course, it can be that not doing any lane support or making space makes you [more likely to] lose the game, and I think that people have a responsibility to their teammates to do their best to win, so there's that to bear in mind. The thing to remember with pubs is that games are heavily driven by morale and emotions. A game where your team thinks you're losing can very quickly turn into one where you're actually losing because people start playing the blame game or giving up. Conversely, you can often snowball a game simply by getting kills/towers and generally doing things that make the enemy believe that they are behind even if you did not trade that effectively (e.g. your carry came to fights and gave up farm) because the perception of losing will make them start bickering and giving up. This is part of the effectiveness of fighting carries and the ineffectiveness of farming carries in pubs. Being in fights and getting a big kill lead contributes to making the enemy play worse even if its not a legitimate gameplay advantage. On August 23 2013 04:49 trinxified wrote: Well that's all good and all too but some heroes aren't built to kill enemy heroes that early. While the supports have good spells to clear lanes with, you are a carry who depends on last hitting per attack. I'm aware of this, which is why I think all of those heroes that don't have early killing power of some form (be it ganking, solo-killing, or teamfighting ability) are bad pub heroes. These are all fine points. I'm not sure how it in any way justifies you calling anyone who plays a farming heavy game an asshole. He didn’t call them an ass hole. He said that if you do it and don’t ask your team mates if they want to play that way, you are an asshole. If people are ok with 4 protect 1, then there is nothing wrong with it. well sometimes I just want to go go play a pub and farm for 35 min with antimage and dont really care what my team wants.... Sometimes I want to buy Dagon on Jikrio, not buy wards and let my greedy carry die a bunch of times because he refuses to fight.
Wait, no I don’t do that.

Everyone is saying that the new heroes will have a huge impact on the meta, but what are titan and troll actually good for?

You're not going to ask (or never should) an AM without a battlefury. + 1 why he didn't join the fight. PL does "okay" in mid game team fights but for the most part a PL just walks arounds the map, into the jungle and comes out with a diffusal + items.
Why people go into matchmaking with expectations placed on random people is beyond me.

My insight (i'm far from pro however, just my random thoughts).
I think that ET (ET go home) has super strong initiation and his ancestral spirit makes him pretty non-item reliant, he seems to have quite good range of his spells too.
Troll's ulti is super useful combined with other right-clickers (esp since nowadays we have this tricore meta so i think he fits it perfectly) and being able to switch between melee and ranged looks really promising, since you can choose if you want to be tankier or need range.
I think Centaur Warchief may not be seen much, he is really good hero, however it may be hard to find a lane for him (maybe offlane if it's 1v1 but i don't see him soloing against enemy trilane)

ET/Naga is the new DS/Naga. Or something. Plus more flexible now since teams are willing to run naga as support.
DS stomp is really strong when your team understands how to not wake up the people you don't want to wake up (aka coordination aka not pubs lol)

Not seeing any chen + pudge "fixes". That's good

It just comes out of no where and tells everyone that they need to get the fuck out, like right now. Its awesome when taking the tier 3 towers and rax and everyone is bunched up.

You'll most likely see ET. Especially with the amount of times we saw Dragon Knight at TI3. You'll most likely see Troll, but not really sure how. I don't like him as a hard carry and I feel like he isn't very good mid. As far as Abaddon and Centaur go I doubt you'll see them much at all. Maybe if someone can make a good support Centaur build maybe, but even then I don't think his ult gives as much as a Sand King, Nyx, or Enigma from a similar position. Abaddon is just a slightly different Omni IMO so probably be played just about as much.

Natural Order is such a sick passive aura, although small radius.

Centaur was picked regularly in doto1, not often but still picked, like Slardar now in dota 2 but a little more often I'd guess (which is not very often still)

Oh man thank god for the selection box fix... Maybe I can actually play Chen/Enigma and the like properly now.

The selection box actually hurt me most on TA, traps so hard to select >.<

edit : nevermind.
