LOL i've literally never had an issue with matchmaking in over a thousand games. Singsing looks like he was in LP for that match though. Especially funny that his team won the game linked on dotabuff.

its not MM being terrible, rofl
he's being matched with people who have 10 games played like 10 times in a row. that hasnt happened ever since the incident when compendium matchmaking reset ur MMR.
You cant be sure if 100% solo, since SingSing options dont show "Solo Queue" when searching. Apart from that it's probably not a 0 win player. It's a player with Share Match History disabled, which also hides your wins. He looks like a new player though (0 commendations) but 0 win is stretching it.
So now you have a new player which might be queuing with a (good) friend. Now imagine the opposing team has a new player with 2 (good) friends queuing. Is it that unreasonable to put SingSing in? You need a good solo player who will be put into that team or the overall game will be bad.
Keep in mind though this is all assuming that the new player was in a stack, which no one can prove / disprove.
Just before TI2 Sing had the highest MMR in the game. Would be interesting to see where he is now.
MM is trash but with the amount of effort that can be assumed Valve is applying to it, the only conclusion I can come to is it's just insanely difficult to make a good system. The difference in games played is a pretty big deal, though, and I don't see how that is ever overlooked (and is overlooked often).
