Also movespeed from drums DOES stack with boots, lol.
I'm starting to think this is bait.

Well depends what you mean by "low". Because there's Branches and Stick/Wand if you want to go lower. ![]() true ![]() but i meant in the crystallys category he was talking about.

This really, really smells like bait. If he was truly new he would be more willing to listen to advice from people who clearly have more experience then himself. Unless of course he is just incredibly stubborn. I've run into far too many people who act ignorant just to rile people up for fun. But basically, shadow demon doesn't need auto attack damage, he has plenty of damage in his spells if you decide to play him with farm priority. Items like force staff, scythe and the likes take far more priority.

About auto attacking shadow demon, from what I have experienced, I can build shadow demon in a way that he hits hard with this auto attacking also.

But mana and hp over time does not increase your surviveability in fights, if you are bursted or attacked having hp over time will generally not help unless it's some insane amount of regen like juggernaut ward. Drums is hands down one of the best mid-game items on a hero like juggernaut. And you CAN build him(SD) to auto attack but it's not viable and it's not good. Edit: I'm stopping here, if this isn't bait it's someone so stubborn that i'm giving up regardless.

On August 15 2013 22:51 Naturedota wrote: I cant understand why byind crystallys for shadow demon is not viable? He hits hard. Because typically it is the job of a small number of heroes (typically known as "carries") to focus on building autoattack damage. Autoattack damage scales multiplicatively with your offensive stats (attack speed and damage, with certain auxiliary stats like crit and armor reduction). This means that damage is more efficient to buy on a single hero who is buying a lot of it, rather than everyone buying some. Typically, because agility heroes get damage and attack speed from the same stat, the most effective carries are agility heroes. Strength heroes sometimes also fill this role, though those strength heroes typically have abilities that help them make up for their weaker autoattack stat efficiency. Most Intelligence heroes tend to fill the roles of gankers or casters that focus on killing enemy heroes to make space for your carry to farm his big damage items, killing the enemy carry to set him back, or playing a supportive role in fights with disables, auras, and protective spells. Because of this, they tend to rely primarily on their spells for damage, and buy items focused on team support or survivability, since it's not really that effective for them to buy damage over the carries.

Night Stalker fits under the category of heroes typically called "semi-carries" that build some autoattack stats because they have the ability to become carries if they get really fed.

Same thing with night stalker, who just kills everything with auto attacking. One thing in common with those heroes is that they are not described as carry, but still fullfill that role more than enough. Also I have had much succes with shadow demon with my heavy dmg item build, often times ended up carrying whole team. and none of them bought crystalys i bet. as SD you want force staff for mobility and sheep stick for control. as nightstalker you want it to be night with skilled passive. no items needed...

But in general, I cant understand why not to stack +dmg/dmg giving stat if I wanted to be damage dealer.

Easy build on jugg which is amazing, I play him more like a second position carry than a pure gold whore. Starts stout salve tangoes 1 clarity ggx2, upgrade to poor man shield if needed, grab a wand fast to be able to spin more. Max spin 1st then ward 2nd (ulti when available obviously), go phase boots, drum, yasha, agha (or bkb), try to take as many tower as you can abusing the healing ward. The ward is maybe jugg's more powerful spell, all your team is low life after taking a T2? Hey let's try this T3 because we're all full life again!

Actually, i might still able to do that if i made a smurf....anyway, the point is, we were once noobs too and probably thought we ruled the dota world. Nature bro you started the game a few days ago and you thought this is an okay game, which is good, caused that means you like the game but in all honesty, i think there is much more to see and learn (and experience) in dota. Welcome to the dota world!!! ![]() + Show Spoiler + he sounds too sincere to be a troll, or we are just getting trolled big time T_T
