I copy pasted it but I've not found a good translation. If a nice Russian guy could translate it for me it would be appreciated Google translate gave me an idea for what that could mean. I don't think it's appropriate to post it on TL though, you might want to check by yourself. HAHAHAHA + Show Spoiler +", damn russians.

I think you were able to if you purchased new name change kit or w/e in TF2. I think that works in Dota as well?

Didn't Valve say they were gonna reset profiles when Dota2 was released so you could start over?

There is no reset. They specifically said there wouldn't be one.

Probably means stats wise. That would be utterly stupid to wipe out the whole profile.

this game http://dotabuff.com/matches/244560224
One might look at this game and think it was a stomp. 19-10, 27min duration. "Omg the matchmaking is so bad, look at this shitty 0-1 storm, omg 300 gpm alch, valve why do u matchmake like that"
but in reality, this was an extremely balanced matchup. First of all, we analyze the picks. Storm was pretty much forced into support role considering the other players heroes. DS didn't want to buy wards at all. So storm couldn't do shit all game, protecting the alchemist(who farmed like a boss during early game, I might add)
QoP didn't have the easiest time mid vs invoker, but invoker didn't play particularly well either.
We constantly made sure that Naix wouldn't farm too much.
DS didn't have the easiest time vs the brewmaster, who was playing well and constantly holding the harrassment with an early RoH
me and abaddon had a hard time keeping alch in check top, but as I said storm had to support him and we blocked the camp spawn so it wasn't particularly easy.
Come mid game, we 5man and push everything down. Alchemist and Lifestealer both had hand of midas, which made them weak in team fights that early. As DS said, "congratulations on reacting to the double midas of our team. WP".
It made me wonder. Those players weren't bad. Neither were us. If you would consider the raw skill level, both teams were actually dead even. But gamebreaking mistakes were made on Dire: two midas versus a team that could push early, particularly no good 4/5 position support was picked, we made a very low amount of mistakes(Abaddon helps in that he can forgive positional mistakes and whatnot, we won some fights we would have lost if it weren't for aphotic shield and mist coil) and we pushed as early as we could in order to kill them before alch and naix would destroy our team.
Like... it wasn't a skill level difference. It was just simple mistakes that added up.
While there are obvious stomps, most of my matches can be justified that way. Seriously, even if you are in a losing streak, it could be just bad luck of your teammates(and yourself) making mistakes that add up like that.
Is the MM really that bad as people make it out to be? I wonder.

There was a reset? That must be at least 1.5 years ago
