Also is Aghanim's Scepter worth getting after core on Silencer now? get this and eat satyr Would this work: Ring of Prot Quelling Blade Tangos Salve Stout is toogood mitigation to pass up imo. Eat a big centaur, kill its soncause he only hits for slightlyhigher than 20.

Depends on what creep you devour first. If you get a troll warlord/satyr/wildking then your starting item build doesn't matter much.

You probably need a stout shield, the damage mitigation is just too good combined with the ring of protection. You'll probably have to buy extra regen though. Remember to NEVER USE the ursa clap or the centaur stun otherwise it will drain all your mana and make your jungle a pain. Just go with devour and scorched earth.

Defense getting some real low numbers. Of course not the absolute top teams but last season they like never dipped below 10k unless it was 2 no-name teams in the group stage.
The now enormous gap in production the cause maybe?

It's been competing heavily with G-1 and TI3 East quals. I'm not surprised at all.

Well it's not on at the same time ever.
If anything they lead into it, so those tournaments should prop it up.

Sure, maybe people are a bit burned out. But I think the audience for those 2 must be different. Defense starts after the European work-day. TI3/G-1 is during.

It's at 9k very early in the day for US, with VP playing Next.Kz. Not exactly big draw teams.

It's the groups stage with some less than stellar teams, and even if they are not exactly at the same time, the fact you can almost always catch a higher profile game does matter, people just schedule what they watch at diferent times. There's no reason to make a big deal out of it unless the playoffs also suffer from lack of viewership.
I'm pretty sure tornament organizers say US makes up for a very significant amoung of viewers.

I'm not making a big deal about it, I just think it's low given Tobi's draw.I'm pretty sure tornament organizers say US makes up for a very significant amoung of viewers. For a single country yes. But compared to the European time-zone I can't imagine it is. Since forever the biggest numbers are between europeans leaving work and going to bed. There's a big drop-off after that point which we've seen in every tournament that runs after midnight CET.

Lone druid nerfs are really interesting. I like it.

Patch solved in collaboration with MrHoon.
Every single vision-related ability got adjusted. The ward change buffs heroes like BM or Clock while the bottle nerfs hit their ability to gain levels quickly. SD poison, Kunkkas X, TC spirit, Wisp spirits, Batrider, Slardar/BH, even Thralls Thunder strike. Combined with the wards stock change every lost ward will hurt twice as much as before while getting those wards down will be made harder with the sentry nerf.

That's also because that timezone is the best to accomodate both american and EU viewers, so you have the best possible scenario. You just said american vieweship is not relevant at all, when it is, it could add those couple of thousand it's missing for you to be happy with their viewership. It doesn't have to be the biggest factor.
Losing one side completelly is bad, be it because it's too late for EU, be it because it's too early for the americas.

I'm still comparing the same thing now and then. I dno, maybe I don't have a point, I still think it's seemed low regardless of times, teams, anything. And even on this forum there wasn't a thread until after the first day or something.

well
ti qualifier take a large portion of the viewrs (i think a lot of viewer only watch a few hours and dont want to spend half the day watching dota) early in the tournament vp doesnt have the most fans in the west next.kz is not the most entertaining team terrible production
this order i think.

Navi vs Fnatic is going on and is a much higher profile match as well. There's even SL for some russian viewers.
