EDIT: also bottlecrow isn't getting nerfed like that, it's something subtler. The spells actually have no unit-targeting behavior. Any of those spells that were both unit- and ground-targetable in DotA 1 are always treated as ground-targeting in DotA 2. Even if you unit-target them, they're treated as ground-targeting the location where the hero was when you cast. This is only really observable with the spells that have longer cast animations (e.g. Earthshaker's Fissure) or when a hero with Blink is involved. If you move quickly or blink during the cast animation, in DotA 1 a unit-targeted cast would track the hero through the cast animation and still land, while in DotA 2, it always casts at the location where the hero was at the beginning of the cast animation. This bug is actually part of why Earthshaker is seen a lot less in DotA 2 than DotA 1. Fissure always being treated as ground-targeting is a very significant nerf to the hero. Then why in the world are these two spells blocked by linkens? If they are ground target, they should go through linkens, like all other ground target spells. Coz linkens is a shit item anyways
It wouldn't be if it worked correctly now would it?

I don't think its necessarily that simple. The different "versions" of items in DotA 1 were accomplished via item removal/replacement triggers. Its very likely that Valve did away with this and just hard-coded the item interactions (items always muted on courier, bear always gets hero versions of items). Adding a whole new layer of item interaction they didn't account for might not be that easy.

I don't much about coding at all, but I thought it wouldn't be that hard to add a clause to the item itself to disable it if it's inside the bears inventory. I don't think they would have to recreate the whole way items interact in Dota 1. Either way, one issue is that I can't think of another item the bear get's that's the courier version. That makes it hard to draw any comparison.

Loda has ego issues, I for one and shocked and appalled, calling out Aui on his light criticism of Loda's PL play
context. this disaster of a timeline:

i guess casters only exist to jerk off players

Men of Western DotA, hear now the Steward of this Realm! Behold! One has come to claim the kingship again at last. Here is Jonathan Berg, Lord of Dol Amroth, chieftain of the Alliance of Sweden, Captain of the Host of the West, bearer of the Star of the North, wielder of the Sword Reforged, victorious in battle, whose hands bring healing, the L-God, Laoda#正义 of the line of SK, T_T,once and future son of MYM. Shall he be king and enter into the City and dwell there?" And all the host and all the people cried yea with one voice."

"And tbh I only know of your cast through others, so It may not be that bad! But my honor can only stand flame from fans. Not pros"
That's the issue. I think casters can be too critic and that doesn't mean you are only able to jerk off players, but you should at least hear the cast before flaming them in a public medium. I personally don't think Aui went too far at all, he was just nitpicking too much for a cast, something that should be reserved for a replay analysis. Fear did one of those and he also was picking apart Alliance's mistakes.
If his sources are Kelly, I can only say I remember how she went batshit insane when some people had some mild and very valid critics of Loda in LR threads.

Go ask him if you think he shouldn't be upset but don't come here and say he has "huge ego issues" that he is "shocked and appalled" and calling a "disaster of a timeline". Come on. That is fox news, daily mirror level of bullshit.

"you piss me off because I feel you have some of the weirdest skillbuilds and itemchoices in the game. And still you talk like this"
Loda is making a huge deal out of nothing.

To be fair the amount of "Spectre should really build an orb of venom // skadi" in the LGD game for example got really annoying. Aui's "critique" of Lodas PL was pretty much "he did well but his farming wasn't optimized" which, in a vacuum, is a statement that's always true. That's not something to make a big deal out of, someone like Loda should be smart enough to not create a big fuss based on hearsay.

Loda having Ego issues isn't new for anyone that has followed the scene for years. Nothing to see really, looks like child arguing over stupid shit.

I think the real issue is that Aui didn't qualify why he thought Loda's build wasn't optimized. Aui made a claim during the cast that he could have farmed faster than Loda did and he could have because Aui opens Yasha instead of drums. If you aren't going to fight (which loda never did) then yasha farms faster than drums and he could have been an item ahead since he wouldn't have wasted all that gold on drums. Aui never explained this during the cast so you could interpret his statement as I farm better than Loda or something even though he never intended such a thing.

I really really enjoyed Aui's cast of that game and Aui's casting in general. Its great for newer players like me to learn about the deeper mechanics of the game through the criticism's and opinions of a pro player. Basic stuff like: Drums on PL is a fighting item, Yasha speed up your farm immensely, the manta vs heart debate, praising the BoTs decision. There wasn't anything really mean or personal about the cast, maybe slightly abrasive to some. It wasn't the usual "omg wat a player' fluff. It was engaging casting, casting that kept me looking and listening to the stream intently.
So Loda comes back saying things like it was "arrogance" and that was "very personal". On an extremely public platform, twitter, on which he is probably one of the most followed english speaking dota players. No attempt to go to steam chat or the supposedly amazing dota2 pro community on Skype. Then he goes and says "Oh I didn't actually see the cast, some people told me you were arrogant". Then Loda hits out at Aui in an extremely personal way saying that he "pisses him off" due to Aui's weird item choices and that "oh I know your type!". Now if the man who just conquered China, is called a living dota legend and is one of the very few people who are able to play this game full time is pissed off by Aui_2000's criticism's of him then yes, it does speak to some sort of ego issue.
Why did Loda bring it up in such a public place? What's the point? The motivation for such senseless idiotic drama? You call it daily mail tier bullshit its because what Loda is saying is tabloid gold, its worthless trash that has no place anywhere but in private between two professionals who have a disagreement and maybe even some sort of personal issues.
