You lose 55 dmg (~3666 gold taking Claymore as baseline) You gain +15 all stats (~3150 gold taking ultimate orb as baseline) Suddenly you're paying 1341 gold exclusively for the spell block. Instead you might as well build BF+ultimate orb and get more out of your money. PS: It's not an accident that the cost for the spell block is almost equivalent to the recipe price. That's what makes the item so inefficient in comparison, UNLESS you want the spell block. | ||

It covers several of her weaknesses. Yes, she still has terrible right click - but really the whole idea behind Medusa builds is to help her get absurdly tanky, and then transition into pure damage items. Linkens is a really logical step in that direction because it makes her a bit tankier, while still giving her regen for farming. I don't play any medusa, however. | ||

Dmg portion of BF (ignoring the regen you get for that cost as well): 67 gold per dmg. Claymore/Broadsword/Hammer: 67 gold per dmg. Relic: 62 gold per dmg. Demon Edge: 52 gold per dmg. What did you say about Claymore, Mithril Hammer and Relic giving you more dmg for the gold than battlefury? >_> PS: When you take out the regen portion of the BF (since we we're talking about followups to the perseverance... you now pay 40 gold per damage. Suddenly BF beats even blades of attack in terms of cost effectiveness.) | ||

Damage wise, Desolator is so much better. I see the point of building BF if you absolutely can't farm after your first item, but Weaver is one of the most mobile heroes in the game. | ||
