That thread was on TL for a specific tournament, yes. While an early gold lead in League is a much stronger indicator for who is going to win compared to DotA it's not even closely as bad as that statistic tried to show. In that specific tournament the teams were highly different in strength and a lot of the games were one sided from the first to the last minute. Combine high skill differences between teams with a super safe play style and you end up with something like this. Also that stuff must be at least 1 1/2 years old, no idea what it's like nowdays. Edit: Was MLG 2k12. | ||
