They seem more accurate to me, heroes which I am terrible at no longer appear as my highest rated, and heroes which I feel like I play well have much higher ratings now.
I would think the ability to sort the various heroes by performance, number of win/losses and name would be useful instead of the seemingly random order that they are currently sorted by.
Well, suddenly my best heroes are Spectre, Sniper, Brewmaster, Syllabear and Necrolyte. That doesn't seem right to me. It says it is based on relative performance. My top heroes are inflated because I am so bad at morphling that it is easy to be good at everyone else.
I understood that to mean that they compare your performance with one hero against other players at you skill level and rate accordingly, that being the relative performance rather than your relative performance between the heroes you play.
I could be wrong though.

The new hero performance meter makes a lot more sense.
For some reason, the game still thinks I'm good at Disruptor, though.

That is how it worked before, but they said they changed it so ^_^

Your disruptor is definitely one of your better heroes.

The performance bars seem to be only related to winrate. All heroes with 50% winrate have 5.5 bars for example

Good luck then :-) Better be something amazing! So trollish or witty or, well just something to be remembered. I know, although not a huge deal, I reached my first 1k and I felt quite a bit of pressure to make an epic post. Sadly I failed because although it was made in such a way that people would comment, it got moved to "blog" which pretty much killed my thread. So my 1k was a failure, so I look forward to my 5k then.
62% on Dota 2 download... my god this is taking forever and although my internet sucks, it is nearly 1mb/s

I dunno, I've never been one to be sentimental about random milestones.

Better be, or it will haunt you for the rest of your life! It is presumably the single greatest accomplishment in your life to reach that 10k milestone.
Oh a more topic related comment, I am just now catching up on Defense season 3... been busy with studying and man, so many matches to go through.

10 bars for Luna, PL and Death Prophet I approve 10 heroes with 10 bars.
I approve, too!

Ah these make a lot more sense. I have max Nyx/lycan, my two best heros. Before it said my nyx was below average.

Wow... they changed the stats so much. Before the change, I did not have any maxed out. I look at my stats since the change and I have 12 heroes with 10 bars.
Lycan, DP, BS, Kunkka, SB, SF, Luna, Spectre, Tiny, Naga, Disruptor, and SK (Axe and kotl are like a cm away from 10 as well).
It sort of feels like they broke the system, I do not think mine should be 10.

The new system relates your performance with one hero to your performance with other heroes. The old system compared your performance with one hero to other people's performance with the same hero. This becomes really obvious on some heroes, like Dark Seer who has been top tier material for ages.

If there is no objective comparison, does that not mean at least one hero will be 10? Since for there to be a comparison, there needs to be a "top" to know where the others should be. I do not know though, just seems weird to me.

On one of my accounts, I played only Meepo and he is 5. Granted, it is only a single hero there so maybe if there is more than one, than it will become 10. But I do not know, it requires a bit of testing.

Edit: Yeah, definitely only winrate, doesn't matter what hero, same winrate same bars.

Yeah I don't think it is based solely on winrate alone. Emphasis is on "solely" based on.
With that said, my 12-12, 2-2, 3-3, 6-6. and 2-2 are all just after 6, exactly the same. So I do not know, this is confusing me lol,
