Defense is same shit. They've increased the pool by what? from 10k euro to 20k dollars, An increase of 50%. Even though jD's numbers are enormous now, and the prize pool is most likely supplied by sponsors. And they have absurd amounts of ticket sales.
Dota prize pools are far too low for their viewership, that's just how it is. Hopefully this ESL league will change that through-out. (and as far as I'm aware, ESL pays for flights as well)
Or maybe the sc ones are too high for their viewership?

Yeah it's relatively widely accepted that the ROI on starcraft has become really bad for the most part. And also, going from 10k to 20k is a 100% increase not 50%. I dont think creating a "bubble" around dota2 is a smart idea, I'd rather see organisation try to be sustainable.

Does anyone else feel like razor is vastly underestimated/undervalued?

I don't know, I feel he's just a fairly weak hero overall. It's very hard to actually keep link draining. He requires a fair bit of farm before he can do anything. He's also very weak as a carry later in the game. On top of all that, he has literally no push power at all.

Infest would stop it, specially during big fights where they wait for ultis to be ready but in small skirmishes it could be nice, but it's true it can prevent naix from infesting the initator.

He's also very weak as a carry later in the game. On top of all that, he has literally no push power at all. Keep link draining - depends on what hero. Razor has incredibly movespeed, so its not too much to keep it draining (as long as you're picking razor in an intelligent matter. Don't pick him against AM obviously XD)
He has somewhat notable push power in that Q can nuke creeps down fairly quickly (plus, its not like we are exactly in a push meta atm). As a whole, I think he just needs to farm tanky items, and if you build a decent controlling teamfight with one or two good aoe ults (ravage, RP, etc), I think razor could fit well against a naix, sven, etc type pick.
Edit: He was picked recently in TD3 iirc, can't remember the game (think they lost, but more of a throw than a "RAZOR SUCKS LOL" situation.)

Plus, keep in mind, ESPN has also broadcasted such sports as paintball, which lasted a week or so.
Edit: I can't even find this article on their webpage. Probably just some intern working for ESPN that likes league >.>

It's like their press week for S3, there's LoL stuff on every single site out there all saying the same nonsense.

It's a press week, the whole purpose is to get news stories out there. Has nothing to do with 'being popular'. If Blizzard wanted ESPN to write an article about SC2, they could get them to.
