Don't really need to get more than 1 rank to do that though Wait, how does fiery soul help you land LSA? It doesn't change cast animation at all. It gives you MS , which always helps Thought he meant something else, well i guess MS helps in some way, but when he says " It can actually help you a surprising amount at hitting your LSA" to me that implies helping improve your LSA accuracy. But whatever. with the extra MS, its easier to get in range to hit LSA Pretty simple

Fiery Soul is really good at the point where you have fights and can right-click things, but the burst damage/AoE from the nukes is still going to be more useful. You farm faster with Slave/LSA max than with Fiery Soul, and ganks hinge more on your immediate burst than your sustained autoattack damage by nature.
Also, Shadow Blade is a key item for carry Lina--it lets you set up solo kills really easily as suddenly appearing next to them from invis, they often don't react fast enough to dodge LSA.
Farming speed from maxed nukes is faster by a few seconds for wave creeps but slower for golems and high hp neutrals.
Lina at level 10 will have an average damage of 76 (+24 from phase), so 100. A standard 2 stacks of fiery soul gives +170 IAS at level 4. Ignoring armor, that's ~180 single target physical dps. Level 2 fiery soul is ~125 dps. The difference in burst from maxing both nukes is 190 magic damage.
After 2 seconds of build 1, lvl 4 slave + lvl 1 light strike + 2 seconds of lvl 4 fiery soul is 280 + 90 + 360 = 730 damage, neglecting magic resistance and armor.
After 2 seconds of build 2, lvl 4 slave + lvl 4 light strike + 2 seconds of lvl 1 fiery soul is 280 + 280 + 250 = 810 damage, neglecting magic resistance and armor.
The difference in dps between lvl 4 and lvl 1 fiery soul with 100 damage is 55. So if you continue attacking for an additional ~1.5 seconds after the initial 2 second stun, lvl 4 fiery soul will start doing more damage on a single target than maxed nukes. That 1.5 seconds will be a bit lower if you laguna blade as well and get a 3rd stack of fiery soul. However, light strike array hitting multiple targets makes things more complicated than I'm willing to calculate.
So yeah, assuming my math isn't overly flawed, maxed nukes will do more damage, especially if you hit multiple targets with light strike, while maxed slave and fiery soul will start doing more damage on a single target after a second or so, assuming you haven't gotten your first dps item yet. In the end, I would still prefer maxed slave and soul for the single target damage, pushing power, ms, and mana efficiency over maxed nukes. And medallion might be something to consider if someone else gets an urn.

that said its probably just better to compromise, 1 level of delayed fiery soul isnt really a big deal usually

Just a question because I can't find it anywhere, does radiance active override the fire spirit immolation aura or is it like 2 different effects?

IIRC Radiance isn't an immolation aura, it's a building damage aura, so it should work regardless, but even other building damage auras, like scorched earth and wildkin's tornado should stack as long as they are from diferent spells. I think Black Hole also uses the same mechanic.

Dendi on the dbr/solo mmr right now ~_~

Defense of the fucking Fortress 2. I can't believe Valve is actually adding even half of these cosmetics...

So, me and my friends just played. I was solo mid tinker against a Kunkka, who's nick was iG.Ferrari_430. This was the first game for that user, it was created less than en our before the game ended, and it was it's first dota 2 game. The guy tore me apart in mid, I could bearly get a last hit and he got nearly every LH and deny. So, I bet that this was a smurf.
Does anyone know who does this smurf belong to? I don't think it's the real one because we play in europe, but the guy was really good so maybe some european pro?

He would just be some random guy that wanted to stomp on some newbies, its not protier to be able to last hit

Edit: Dendi almost at 14k viewers, lmfao.

All random can't work properly. EVERY time i get this shit game mode, either my team gets only supports and the enemy gets carries or vice versa.
Just repicked with friend because we had 5 supports, got veno & tide from repicks. Good god :D

Thats the whole point of AR. If you don't like *random* teams don't play a *random* mode. I find it quite hilarious some of the compositions I get.
Although it does seem like only a certain type of retard queues for that mode, judging by my teammates recently...

used to do a sick veno build where i'd rush shadow blade and go ult kill 1 hero at a time. I thought veno was like an assassin type hero.
good ol TDA games.

I don't play with him very much.

Dendi nearly at 15k viewers. Crazy. I think this is the most a dota player has ever gotten for just streaming pubs on his own?
