IMO, the only advantage of midas on Alchy is the level advantage it gives him - but I think usually building more farming items is better, as getting pure last hits on him (doesn't matter the kind) has a larger proportional increase of gold than a HoM's increase of gold would be. I guess the 30 AS is nice too, but I feel like there are better items for him.

I think the faster you can reach level 2 ult the better.

There was something quite titanic about TC's ulti. Big cracks shooting out and exploding etc. I'm quite excited to see what TC's animations/particles will look like.

Anyone else think that Lina's fiery soul is really good? Her attacks are like a machine gun with it.
I've been thinking about builds to abuse it and came up with maxing slave first and fiery soul second with an early point in fiery soul at lvl 3/4. Light strike has lower cd than slave so maxing it last to conserve mana seems logical. Items for a solo mid position I'm thinking bottle/wand/bracer/urn and then either maelstrom, crystalys, or diffusal blade. After that, drums and either orchid, guinsoo, or bkb is safe.

Even if you're going carry Lina you still want to max the nukes first. Fiery Soul is really good at the point where you have fights and can right-click things, but the burst damage/AoE from the nukes is still going to be more useful. You farm faster with Slave/LSA max than with Fiery Soul, and ganks hinge more on your immediate burst than your sustained autoattack damage by nature.
Also, Shadow Blade is a key item for carry Lina--it lets you set up solo kills really easily as suddenly appearing next to them from invis, they often don't react fast enough to dodge LSA.

What boots would you go for carry lina? My friend thinks treads because more IAS and switching more more nukes while farming and more HP while fighting, I think Arcanes would be best as a sort of farming item with your nukes, and making your ult more sustainable (especially if you go into something like deso or buriza rather than going for int for damage), although I can see phase being a good choice.

Phase are most common I think. You den't need any more AS, carry lina will get regen from somewhere else than boots and phase let's you position best and with your AS flat damage is best for your DPS

arcanes or tread, id go arcane cuz her combo is quite costly and its nice to not have to go back to fountain after using each once

I just went regular lina with arcanes. When I got really fed I went the rather standard route of wand, force drums and euls. Later on I got mjollnir and daedalus and raped their carries ezpz

Firey soul? I think its ok. It can actually help you a surprising amount at hitting your LSA, if you fire a dragon slave first.
Don't really need to get more than 1 rank to do that though

Thought he meant something else, well i guess MS helps in some way, but when he says " It can actually help you a surprising amount at hitting your LSA" to me that implies helping improve your LSA accuracy. But whatever.

Usually when I go carry lina I'll go arcane boots then dissassemble it into bloodstone and get phase boots instead. Bloodstone might be a bit overkill but if you're doing well it gives you a lot of tankiness and you can spam your spells all day without worrying about mana. Then i usually get mkb/deso/daedalus (not necessarily in that order) for damage, I don't really see the point of getting attack speed items since you should rely on fiery soul for that. If you keep your spells going you're going to be attacking very fast already.
