Aquila, I've decided that I don't like it so much. On most agi carries, I'm more concerned with getting a farm item ASAP (Bfury/Radiance/Midas), and the ring of aquila really costs a lot early game. If the hero is extremely mana constrained, AND i'm not going bfury, then soul ring is a cheaper way to get more mana, and is plenty spammable if you have tranquils. Basically, I like aquila on heroes like weaver, medusa and gyro. The constant mana regen is very nice, they don't generally have a huge need for burst mana, and the extra damage that it brings is very relevant. Plus, none of those heroes really build tranquils so tranq/soul ring isn't a real option. Of course, those heroes also often just build a linkens, but aquila is a nice cheap substitution for that. Tranquils: yes yes yes this item is way too good. Wand: duh.

On Strength heroes I often just go drums to buff up the midgame potential of my whole team, especially since a lot of strength heroes really lack mobility. On agi carries though, I find that I might as well just go yasha for comparable/better movespeed and much better attack speed/damage. Sure, a bit less survivability but it builds into manta nicely for that, and somebody else can always get the drums for you. Aquila, I've decided that I don't like it so much. Luna, however, is a great hero for drums, as she plans on pushing early on anyways, and the stats and speed of drums is very nice. PL lately has been picking up drums against due to his wanting to fight in the midgame lately, and being that his lance has slow already, it combines really well during teamfights in the earlier midgame.

Feel like a lot of game developers could learn a lot about how dota developed. EDIT: I got shouted at for going deso on weaver, do people still think it doesn't work on him? :<

Would think people at the high end of the spectrum would think a bit more but guess not. Then had a PL who went midas into radiance then shouted at us to push with him. Don't really understand why you pick a hard carry like PL then go a build that doesn't allow you to fight early but constantly want to fight. It's like people don't really think about what they want to accomplish with items and just buy stuff.
