Yeah, they are pretty awesome. It would probably just be implemented in the strategy section though. Maybe in this thread as well because of the constant strategy discussion.

Whoever was asking about veno there's a good example of why he isn't picked much going on here http://www.teamliquid.net/video/streams/NEODotA (EG vs Dig). He's become dead weight so it's basically 5v4. He also didn't add much to the push so compared to a support with a disable he's rather useless at this stage of the game.
EDIT: I didn't even know there was a Dota 2 strat section oO EDIT2: This neodota production value is rather high wow. Feels like they should be getting a lot more support

I just realized why Naga Siren is a potential fucking sick 5th position hero.
She can (in theory) stack four camps at a time. That's some serious money, yo.

And as a carry she farmed four camps at a time But yeah, she has very strong skills that allow her to be effective with pretty low farm, and a skill that makes her scale with items really well, so she can be both a good 5 and 1

I just never realized :D

It'd be pretty sick money for a dusa with lvl 4 split shots, or just plain old SF.
Also, when playing offlane BM, am I theo nly who uses the boar to stack ancients instead of running there? Seems both easier and more efficient to me, and you're not vulnerable to ganks while going there (on the radiant side)
I just havent see other people micro the boar in that way

Stacking 4 camps at a time ...
And well, I do that too - I think most people do

Being able to stack all the camps isn't that useful though. Maybe if you have something that can farm a triple stacked camp very early on like a batrider, but you're just wasting some gold/exp while you wait for someone to be able to clear it if that isn't the case.
You're also going to have an incredibly weak lane with Naga supporting. You have a melee support with a semi-disable. Ensnare only prevents movement so if their only option is to run away then great, but if they're gonna stand and fight it doesn't work as well.

How often can an offlane BM get that before he starts killing the stack in a competent level game?

Hi there, i just received a whole bunch of Dota 2 extra copies (13 to be exactly) and since i dislike the game a lot, i'll just hand them out to my friends of Teamliquid. It seems that i can't post the codes, but i'd need your email adresses to give you access. So send me private messages if you want those. In case that actually everyone has access nowadays, just consider this a friendly relic from the past.

As in, position all your stuff at different distances away from the camp and then tell them to go there and back at different intervals. Suddenly 1s+ time for each of those actions.

The bad thing is the enemy team would prob be so far ahead it doesn't matter ;D

Seriously, naga siren has quite a lot of potential as a support hero. Her ensnare is really strong going through bkb. Has a very strong -armor debuff. And her ult makes the enemy carry have to think twice before using bkb because it might just kill you faster than it helps you.

A lot of heroes if you remove context and just state their abilities sound really strong. Naga is squishy and has mana issues. Her -armour debuff requires her to be in melee range or use illussions. Illussion/Ensare/Riptide is a lot of mana and requires a lot of levels. So you just land up with a squishy Agi support with mana problems and a disable that only limits movement on a single target. I don't see it happening unless play becomes really passive and you have someone that takes farm early then creates space letting the naga get farm. If I saw a support naga I'd just aggressive trilane and beat the shit out of that lane. Already trilanes with naga as the primary carry aren't that strong, ones with her as a support?
Sure maybe there's some super niche situation where it works out well. I just can't see it being a general pick. If you have this situation in mind maybe that would shed some light on the discussion.

A naga siren with no farm is a pretty useless naga siren.
It's like saying faceless void is really good support because his chrono goes through bkb and he can bash to disable.
I mean to say that telling people that it's "good" to play naga as a support is just spreading misinformation.
Like, if i ever play a game and my naga siren goes mek, forcestaff, arcane boots, and ghost scepter, i'll pm you about how sad it made me.
