I think Navi, Quantic, and EG are top three because they've been in the scene for so long. Once dota 2 stabilizes they should show how powerful they are.
They won a infused cup vs AL, they got to top 4 of dota replay brawl, think they won the next one. 2nd in premier league. They had a retarded undefeated streak.
There's been players as good or better than fear and demon from the US when they played actively. Though they were never on one super team outside the original complexity.

col is the real deal, they may not be the most individually talented but collectively they're better than a hell of a lot of other dota teams.

Honestly, coL and AL I both feel will drop off whereas Na'Vi and Quantic are serious contenders for the long run. coL's winstreak was cool but they haven't done anything that impressed me vs a top team. The times they did beat good teams you feel like it was due to the other teams mistakes rather than coL's overachieving. Maybe I'm wrong, I've been wrong many times before and am okay with being wrong but I've never classified coL/AL on the level of Navi.
PS: We've recently taken action against one or more players you've previously reported for bad conduct. Thanks for your help in making the Dota 2 community a friendlier place.

just played a game with juggernaut, man how the hell is ursa capable of getting so fat so fast wtf lol
first to hit lvl 25, rapes everyone
luckily we managed to hold out and make a nice comeback with 2 key fights, one fight leading us to take aegis and cheese, another allowing us to go straight for throne
tl;dr: jugg with aghanims is awesome

As an outsider(to the na scene I mean) my opinion is that after Demon, Fear and Merlini some years back, there's only chaos. Meaning no players good enough to compete with top euros/chinese.
So, can you elaborate on that?
