but seriously icefrog/euls give clockwerk more than 6 fucking armor at lvl 16 or atleast give him a good int or mana regen because phase isnt my item on clock and sometimes i seriously consider getting tranquils this hero needs like 12 item slots or some shit because jesus christ | ||

Phase give better damage for last hits, and better movespeed to just get away from people. If they get to you as sniper you will die, doesn't matter if you have treads/phase by then. | ||

It's because that although it's nice if you can position yourself right in the first time to maximize the damage, but since you have limited information about the enemy's position, most of the time you have to re-position yourself on the go. Tread don't give you that ability, if you get caught out of position, you'll most likely die because tread only gives you 150hp, and a wild spells from heroes can negate it. Moreover, it's not like sniper is the fastest hero around or anything, in this game, sniper is only faster than morphling, pudge, shadow shaman, viper, crystal maiden, invoker, technies(7 heroes), so if he get caught out of position, he's done. | ||

Dota 2, why you be no nice to me, why! As for being on topic, I much prefer Phase boots over treads as well on sniper. But I prefer the boots over treads in general. Always seems like people will have their own preference. | ||
