We all know first time Slark player will end up badly anyway so I can transition to carry riki when that happens. Win win.

Is the standard build still boots into mom into basher? When I played dota everyone who played him built exactly that, in that order. Every. single. time.

I'm not hating on them because I know how Valve roll but damn man... Think about the millions of people in Asia who are waiting for this! Better to keep a game in development than release a game that actually won't flop like SC2.

I'll let you take a guess yourself at why it's not very intelligent to buy an item that reduces surviveability on a hero with already very little surviveability. If i had to make a build for slark it'd be something along the lines of: Treads, drums into possibly a naked vit booster which can be turned into a heart later on, and after the drum/vit booster i could imagine items like AC, Butterfly, Yasha(I think it's an amazing item just on its own, not sure how much slark benefits from manta, but you can't go wrong with manta on agility heroes so whatevs), heart, skadhi and BKB. Those sounds like some viable items to me, of course every game is different and might require different items, i can imagine slark being a decent diffusal holder for a team against heroes like omni and the likes. Been too long since i played slark myself.

I miss seeing amazing epicentres ^^ He is still picked a lot but has some limitations in order to get a good epi he needs a blink dagger. His use at levels 1-3 are quite mediocre since the range on burrow strike is simply too small. His teamfight presence relies on him getting a stun on multiple heroes or a good epicenter off. Unlike Tidehunter, you can't really offlane him.

He is the master of debuffing stuns, he literally never gets stunned for more than a second. But he agrees that slark has meepo level laning. Also note that dust never works on this hero
