So xboct is upset that his supports play like shit. Has there ever been any carry who didn't feel this?
the problem is that they didnt play like shit.
srsly, im pretty sure Xboct is the worst player on navi...
Then you didn't watch any of their games in TI3. Xboct has his share of bone-headed decisions, but he really turned it on for the tournament and showed why he is the carry on the most successful Dota 2 team to date.
If you include drafting as part of Puppey's positive contribution to the team, Funn1k and Kuroky were the ones that stood out as underperformers, unfortunately. That's uncharacteristic for Funn1k, since he's a baller, and maybe had something to do with nerves, but it sounds like the problems with Kuroky may be systemic in nature.
But again, they placed second. If they are looking at it strictly from a performance standpoint, there is really no reason to change up anything. Who are they going to get that is better than what they have, unless they poach players from Alliance, which is just as unlikely?
If there is an attitude/communication problem that surfaced in TI3, then yeah, they should get that fixed soon so they can have a stable line-up for as long as possible heading into next year's tournament. But changing up your team because 2nd place isn't good enough seems too risky a path for an eSports team to take. The difference between 2nd and 1st is training and execution, not personnel.
Don't get too carried away. XBOCT definitely was a major factor in two really important games; TF game 3 and [A] game 5. His decision to chase s4's Puck was pretty indefensible, and his issues in the trilane against TF helped put that game into almost-unwinnable territory. The fact that they did win it is much more to do with mechanics and gimmicks than his play.
As stated, Hvost was the reason why they were in basically unwinnable territory against TF game 3. He ignored Puppey's call to go top with the tri-lane, which resulted in him getting completely shit on at the beginning. The only reason why they came back was because of bug abuse, which even Puppey owned up to in a post match interview.
How is it known that Xboct ignored Puppey's instruction? Did Xboct or Puppey say so in an interview?
it's rumors. but the guy you are quoting has some quarrel with navi and takes every rumor as a hard fact.

Here's the interview where he's "hinting" it. About ~1 minute in.

Is there a betting site to place rares on correct player transfers?
Say XBOX leaves Navi - arguably at times their weakest player that is not going to change his style since he's been around and playing the same forever.
Who would actually replace him in a style fitting to Navi aka tons of early aggression? I don't think it neccessarily has to be a russian speaking player but i assume that is atleast a plus since everyone speaks some russian even kky. Black is for instance and amazing carry but i don't think he would be fitting for Navi as an example.

with VP disbanding they can pick up Illidan. kky can carry as well but that wouldn't erase their language issues. There's also the off chance they can poach Blow from empire (but that's just wishful thinking) All are more likely to follow their captain's orders and tend not to be suicidal

kky carrying would mean no more sick sick Rubick plays which would make me sad. Illidan from what little i have seen from him during the last 6 months is imo not a fitt for Navi. Blowyourbrain might be but i don't really know.

Please not Illidan. He played awful during TI3. I would prefer Goblak going to Na'vi. I would wish AA return, but that's unlikely.

imo, he needs a captain who can order him around and keep his tendencies in check. That's when xboct's plays shine is when he dives at the right time and gets away with it. Maybe without ppy he'll just revert back to mediocrity

silent should leave quantic and replace xboct if that happens.....
They need a team that can play as a team because there were plenty of times at TI3 where they felt like an IH team where they just threw away leads because they couldn't handle a team fight.
