It is very stressful. The only good part about it is that it helps you wake up in the morning. For an example, you list 10 items you hope will sell. Right as you wake up you are wide awake because you are excited to see what sold (this is all in my experience).

you're going to have to experiment a lot to find a profitable niche on the AH, it's probably the hardest part. i'm sure the big volume flippers can tell you that they've lost their share of gold as well from making stupid deals or being too greedy, but you live and learn.

Tried my hands on several, and I don't think it is that risky.
However, I am very conservative with my investments, so my gains are all very slow.

don't have a picture anymore but at start of diablo3 I bought some witch doctor offhand for 200k gold and it turned out to be worth the 50€ price that it sold for, so I'm quite satisfied with that
