If anything it took longer in D2 to trade especially if you only used trade games or whatever. | ||

But in addition I haven't been as interested because I have all the gear I want and am focusing on HC. The key is to get an idea for an item's equilibrium price. Right now on Europe you can get a 2h socketed xbow with 955 dps for about 300k. If you buy something for 300k and sell for 400k you make 40k profit. If you sell for 500k you make 125k profit. 600k = 210k etc. If you set the buyout to 600k you can see that the xbows are roughly 975 dps. So if you see a 980 dps bow for 300k you instantly buy it because you know you can sell it on (quickly) for 589,999. When I was doing this more heavily about ten days ago the difference in DPS was greater so that 980dps would sell for about 1m so you had greater scope to make money. You just need to search for items all the time. I don't mean sit there pressing refresh (you could do this if you wanted to), but every time you log in, search. Every time you leave a game, search. Every time you begin an AH session, search, then search at the end of an AH session. Search after you update your spreadsheet. Searching often is how you find the best deals. | ||

I mean, if I"m shopping and I see something way underpriced, I'll do it but sitting and specifically looking for that stuff is a real pain and doesn't work all that well. It's good to sell stuff that you bought at half the price, but it's even better to sell stuff that you got for free. | ||

12% mov speed 115 int 70 vit 40 resist all for like 230 gold, was planning on reselling them for a big profit, but they actually were slightly better than what i was wearing so i ended up using them. will do when i find something better, but the profit is gona be quite steep for sure. i did buy a 750 dps + int +crit damage spear for 20k and resold it for like 150k this morning though . | ||

I'm not really doing it anymore because: a) I got bored of it b) RMAH seems to have ruined the specific market I was targeting - less traffic (therefore less volatile) and lower prices now. + Show Spoiler + ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/Qopju.png) PS on that biggest sale there, I think I still undersold the item... | ||
