Fantasy, Stork, Calm, Modesty seeded into OSL. All other players from last seasons OSL Ro16 automatically into the Dual Tournament (to make 6 groups). From the amateur qualifiers, 12 will qualify into the offline qualifiers for the Dual Tournament, where they will be mixed in with the pool of progamers. From there, only 12 (out of all the pros/ams) will qualify for the Dual Tournament to join the 12 players from last seasons OSL. Out of the Dual Tournament (which is MST style), only 12 will qualify out of 24 to the next OSL.

However, I'm just afraid that a semi-former progamer like Effort has a good chance of roflstomping their way through the league and winning it uncontested. Having someone like Effort in the league seems really risky. On one hand, it can allow competent amateurs to get noticed if they play well against him. On the other hand, there is no guarantee that there won't be a complete roflstomp from him. Yes, but under this format why should someone like Effort be denied a chance to qualify for the OSL? Scouting is one major purpose of this tournament, but it is first and foremost an OSL qualifier and I don't think its reasonable to say that a player can't try to qualify because he may be way above the level of the rest of the players in the qualifier. This is alot like golf qualifiers for the U.S. Open. You have a bunch of amateurs but many of the participants include PGA Tour pro's that won't obtain exemptions through regional or sectional qualifiers through their play on tour. Also, I love these changes! Excellent way to scout for new talent and I love the format of an open tournament. While its incredibly unlikely some amateur will qualify for, and then win, an OSL it still makes for great entertainment with that possibility lurking, and I am sure we will eventually seem some decent runs by amateurs that will add alot of suspense to the tournament.

Don't like the delay though, it means more time until Flash can get the record of most OSL wins. ![]()

I eagerly await the epicness that would ensue. Would also be cool if Boxer, Nada, July, or GGPlay randomly come back to participate and get into the Dual Tournament.

Just because you consider Boxer and Yellow important doesn't mean that they are important to everyone. I rather dislike opinionated translator notes. The return of the dual tournament is great news though!
