Your thoughts on advancing from the preliminaries?
My opponent in the finals was Bogus who is doing quite well recently, but since I’ve also been doing well in our team, he was an opponent where I could show my true potential to, so it was even better that I faced off against him. But since I’ve not been doing that well in Proleague lately, I heard Anytime say to YellOw hyung a little while ago, “Is HoeJJa still playing games these days?” That’s why I thought that I definitely had to show something in the preliminaries today.

It’s quite amazing how much Action and Perfective have been playing active roles for your team nowadays.
Our team’s atmosphere is really great. It’s because it seems that we’ve finally gotten rid of the image that we’re KTFlash. On one hand, I should be playing an active role as them, but after thinking it over a bit, I’ve received a lot of motivation from them and will definitely have to pass the preliminaries this time.

You achieved a 2:0 win against Nbs in the Round of 4.
Since ZvP is one of my favorite matchups, I had confidence in myself.

Your last game against Bogus was a drawn-out one. [T/N: Drawn-out, but so bad, so gooood. A must watch if you're a huge fan of epic fail, unorthodox strategies used, and another hilarious shenanigans.]
I was in an advantageous position, so I hurled many forces on him, but in the blink of an eye, he made a reversal with his mechanic army. But since it was a game where I held the advantage from the start, in the end I was able to win.

We hear a lot of comments that your momentum is really good in your team.
I do have pride that I show off my true strength as it is in our team. I also have confidence that I’ll do well if I get sent out in Proleague, but after seeing that the other teammates are doing well, it’s hard to grab opportunities to participate. It would be great if I could show the strength I display in practice also in broadcasted matches.

You have a record with many losses in Proleague. Compared to your true potential, it’s your worst record so far.
I don’t really know the reason why I’ve been losing so much. After seeing that I have been accumulating losses up to a 0 wins 7 losses record, Reach hyung and YellOw hyung who have experienced being in a slump before gave me lots of advice regarding that matter, so thanks to them I’ve been able to cheer up. At times like this, I feel that having seniors on your team is really a true help.

By taking advantage of your victory, how about you make a request to be sent out more in Winners’ League?
I do want to tell our manager to send me out as the first player in Winners’ League, but since we have so many good players on our team, I just want to tell him to use me to snipe Protosses. If my chance comes, then I want to have a huge success like Perfective had. [T/N: Literally, “I want to have a daebak like Perfective”]

Any last words you want to say?
It has been such a long time since the last time I gave an interview, so I will have to try harder so that I will do them frequently in the future. Before my match today, Violet hyung told me that if I was able to play my games just the same way like in practice, then I would be able to pass the preliminaries, so hearing that was a huge help to me. Even though he’s sick, he always fusses over and worries about me, so I’m really thankful to him. [T/N: Yay Violet, helping out and cheering on his team as always! :D]
