Your thoughts on advancing from the finals?
Now I don’t have to be nervous about the preliminaries anymore, so I have formed confidence that I can play better.

How were your games today?
My games weren’t that hard in the Round of 4. However, my games in the finals were close. I had wanted to play a macro game, but my opponent forced me to do an all-in move. I don’t like to receive harassment, and my opponent kept on harassing me, so I couldn’t stand it any longer and had to do an all-in. [T/N: “You harass me? I end game nao.”]

We hear that your results are very good in friendly team matches.
My results in the team seem to be getting a lot better. I usually have confidence against Protosses, and recently I’ve been sharing strategies with Bisu, so I’ve been learning a lot from him.

Your force in Proleague hasn’t been that good recently.
Even though I haven’t been getting many chances to participate in Proleague, if I find my momentum in the individual leagues again, then I’ll probably be able to grab another opportunity in Proleague.

You’ve even had the experience of going through the experience of getting teamkilled and showing a regrettable performance before.
I’ve been set back countless times because of Fantasy. It happened to me before in the past, and last time’s Starleague as well; I used to have confidence that I would be able to rise someday, but losing to our team’s Terran Fantasy has made my strength quickly deteriorate (laughs). What is your resolution for the Survivor Tournament?
It seems that I’ve been getting a lot of luck lately. During practice, I get many feelings that the maps aren’t good, so I hope I get a good group.

Your thoughts on passing the preliminaries for the first time in your career?
At first when I learned that I had advanced, I was bewildered, but I’m happy about it. I will do my best to work even harder from now on.

How did you advance the finals?
I was too nervous, so I played too safely and lost a game in the beginning. That’s why I thought that even though I lost, I would play confidently in the next game, and after playing with confidence my games went well.

You defeated BaBy in the finals.
PvT is my favorite matchup, and since I usually have confidence in PvT, I wasn’t nervous about it.

You won with a 2:0 record, but even in your games did you have a complete victory? [T/N: Implying one-sidedness]
The 1st set was a little intense, but I was able to win the 2nd game relatively easily.

It seems that the feelings of you actually advancing from the finals hasn’t sunken in yet.
I’ve been sent out in Proleague 2 times before, but I still haven’t been able to get any wins yet. But still, if I prepare for those kind of experiences, then I think that I’ll be able to do better next time.

What kind of style are you comfortable playing with?
I play in a style similar to BeSt’s where macro is the key to my play. I have confidence that I am able to macro up as much as BeSt does. [T/N: BeSt: *Reading this* *Jaw drops in shock* “Wat?!?? This guy sure is ballsy!!”]

Who do you want to meet in the finals?
Since I’m most comfortable with PvT, it would be great if I met a Terran player in the next round. I also have confidence with PvZ, but since I still don’t really have the gist of PvP, I want to avoid facing off against a Protoss player.

Any last words you want to say?
I want to tell Anytime hyung who always compliments me by my side thank you, and I also want to thank my parents who have been supporting me a lot.

Your thoughts on passing the preliminaries?
Since I was concentrating more on my Proleague games, I wasn’t able to practice for the preliminaries even once. I thought that I wouldn’t care if I won or lost, and by playing without worrying that much, I was able to have good results. Seeing that I was able to advance, I’m happy about it.

Did you expect Pusan to advance to the finals?
I knew that Pusan is good at beating Terrans but I thought that the Zerg player would advance from the Round of 4, so I mainly practiced for TvZ.

You lost your first match against him.
After I lost the first game, I received quite a shock. He hasn’t really been sent out recently, so I thought “Possibly” to myself, but he doesn’t seem to be that different from other good Protoss players out there.

You have been doing well in Winners’ League lately.
It seems like that, but my winning rate hasn’t really been that great. But since my condition has been good and my games have been going well recently, it’s a relief. In order to restore the same winning rate I had in the past, since I still have a long way to go before I achieve that kind of record again, I’ll do my best to keep on practicing solidly.

You had advanced in both the OSL and MSL to the Round of 8.
It would be great if I were able to show good results in both the Proleague and the individual leagues by working hard and doing my best.

Any last words you want to say?
Since I’ve said all the things I wanted to say in my recent Proleague interview, I don’t particularly have anything to say right now.

Your thoughts on advancing from the preliminaries?
Before the match, soO had received some Cola, but I stole it from him and drank it all. Coach Doctor.K said to me, “If you chug of all that down, then I bet you’ll win today.” That’s why I felt like I was going to win, so I’m happy about it. We heard that this is the very first time you ever passed a Survivor Tournament.
It is the first time that I’ve passed it with my own hands. It’s been a long time since the last time I passed one in my entire gaming career, which is for some reason a bit troubling. But since I do have experience in the MSL, so that should keep me afloat and help me to survive (laughs).

How were your games today?
Since I didn’t know that Kop had taken a secret expansion, I had to give up one game. The Zerg player also did an all-in against me; I passed the preliminaries, but because my performance wasn’t that good, I have some reflection to do.

Did you think that the preliminaries wouldn’t be that hard once you saw the name of your opponents?
When I came to the place of the preliminaries today, I had a huge burden on my shoulders and felt embarrassed. But after seeing that a lot of senior players had also came, it didn’t seem like something to be embarrassed about anymore.

Do you have confidence that you’ll go far in the MSL?
I thought that I would have confidence in myself if I passed the preliminaries, but now I’m starting to worry about it. But since it’s been a while since the last time I was in an individual league, I’ll do it for the sake of my fans and will really do my best to go far.

It seems that there is a weak atmosphere hanging around your team. [T/N: Who the hell is this interviewer, is it the Fantasy one again?]
Our team has kept on losing lately, but for the first time, I get the feeling that something is thrown off. There have been many unexpected defeats recently, but since everyone on our team has been doing well, we must win all of our remaining matches so that we can maintain our first place position. [T/N: *Insert Twilight Zone music here*] When I was sent out as the first player and wasn’t able to make even 1 kill and lost, I became really depressed, so it was really regrettable. If I get knocked out in the preliminaries as well, I think I’ll become even more depressed.

Any last words you want to say?
Since I still haven’t advanced from the MSL finals yet, I will work even harder so that I can show an even better performance next time.
