i just thought to create a own thread for all the interviews, impression and everything i do on tape at the Intel Extreme Masters.
I gonna do most of the stuff in english since i decided to publish it on teamliquid and i guess it just make sense
If you have any wishes who you wanna have interviewed - Just let me know !!!!
Updates :
HasuObs thoughts about his EPS Game and also about the XMG series and the Intel Extreme Masters
idrA vs Squirtle in Game 4 with live commentating of RotterdaM and TLO
Moonglade about his game and also Day9 who loves to get filmed by me (ironic)
Now i have WMF|Moon in an interview on the big stage of the Intel Extreme Masters. He talked about his games and Starcraft II compared to Warcraft III
ST|Ace getting interviewed with a translater about 10 Minutes about everything happening here + translater. It is always nice to interview the koreans !
Moonglade about his group and his time in Korea where he tried to qualify for GSL and could practice alot for the IEM.
Dario "TLO" Wünsch´s thoughts about Group B and also about commentating and his friendship to Day9 (02.03 9:10 CET)
Thoughts of the Admins who are working for the Intel Extreme Masters - Schedule and what they hate most (02.03 9:10 CET)
Videos from 01.03
This is one of the german Videos BUT! its just how it looks backstage and how the technical stuff looks like to produce this event in HD and also how the other small studios looks like
This Video shows you the Gaming Area for all players from the Intel Extreme Masters and its pretty loud so dont be suprised I am filming White-Ra, idrA and Tarson a bit
And here we go with the first _only_ english Interview and it is White-Ra i interviewed and i was asking him about his group and how his friends and wife are supporting him.
This interivew is with idrA who is not only talking about the tournament but also about his future and why he left korea and moves back to the us and what he thinks about the korean here compared to the top korean in the GSL.
Nothing personal, but speaking german on the big stage is REALLY annoying. Please try to get in subs, some english wrap-up about whats going on or just some info about whats going on.
nice take, what did you thought about the intel guy? Was so funny, as he was just ready to step out, his microphone was already on, and he asked: "Whats the name of this guy again" steps out and sais "Hi dennis".
nice content thanks, I haven't been able to watch any IEM due to it starting at like 3 am my time, now I know its very vivid and going to be a really nice tournament.
Great job TaKe, super fast uploads on these. Would love it if you interviewed the sc2 players in english after each game, you ask all the hard questions and always generate a good interview.
How can you not love IdrA. He gives amazing interviews and is a great player. Hope he does well.
Too bad White-rA is out, he's such a great person and a good player but besides the tourney being stacked with amazing players I think he didn't play to his full potential. Can happen, I'm sure we'll see lot of him in the future.
takey boy, nice stuff as always. IdrA has to get tired of being asked the same question (why did you decide to move away from korea?) 238947 times but he seems really chill and happy right now. did i mention that i can't wait till getting to cebit at thursday? :x
I don't know what's going on but the last 2 videos seem to have messed up Audio for some people. Makes no sense. My audio isn't working on those videos, but I see other people commenting on the videos so it's obviously working for some and not others. Hmm.

IdrA's gotten a lot less nerdier and more comfortable in front of the camera now. He seems like he could be a new spokesman for SC2 much like iNcontrol, except with the added premise of possibly being the best player outside of Korea.
Edit: Ace was first so he directly advances to Ro4, while Morrow and Idra have to duke it out with place 2 & 3 of group b, which will be determined tomorrow.
I also hope Socke advances tomorrow. Socke fighting!

I'm not sure, but I think it would make more sense if 2nd place in a group went to opposite side of the bracket and fought against the third place from that group.
So if you had the best two players in the same group, they could meet each other in the finals again, and not have the quarterfinals be a repeat of a group stage matchup.
Hearing about the drama and stuff (from day9) makes me wish all the more that all the games weren't at unwatchable times. I haven't checked times on finals, but hopefully they're a little later than 9am central time. >.<
haha. Pretty much everything about IEM today has been a blast. The TL posting, the casting, the production and the games. Hope tomorrow keeps up the standard,
Hi Take you should probably start hiding your videos in spoiler links. Since I think you will pump out many more of these interviews and videos. This will help keep the threat tidy. So many thanks for doing this for us. Love your shows.
For all how still so not know Takes Youtube channel: + Show Spoiler +

Yup, that is because people are foolish enough to believe that when a person acts a certain way on the internet, they act the same irl.
Fuck man, I came back to that image to see if I could contain myself. I can't, I don't what's with his face, his eyes, his stare.
It's so deep, deafening, it creates this shroud of tension, uneasiness. I can see him knowing all my macro and micro skills and how they're not up to par to his own experienced and veteran abilities. I jerk to the left, to the right, but the eyes... they follow. They never leave, they know all and they know that I know that the redundancy of this sentence is futile to admit how excruciating it is to stare back, to mirror his tactics.
Yet... I can't look away. Through those thin lens that correct his eyesight are eyes that know no bounds of the Mutalisk, that know the tide of creep and the call of the Zerglings.
Through those eyes I know that he whispering in my ears orders and commands I cannot resist, I cannot ignore.
Through those eyes I know that he wants me to...
Alas, dare I speak of it? Can I speak of such a tabooed request?
Through those eyes I know that Idra wants me to apologize...
Love how collected IdrA comes across in this interview, I've been following him religiously since the beta and he seems so much happier now that he is out of Korea. Can't wait to see him rock the Western scene. Once IdrA becomes just a better at dealing with cheesey play he will be the NaDa of Zerg in SC2.
If you come into contact with an IEM administrator can you ask them about some of the complaints in regards to the random streaming; two games at one time that switch at some frustrating times? The random breaks on the English stream for hours at a time?
Would really love an interview with mOOnGLaDe, First Australian to go to GSL, first Australian to travel internationally with SC2. He is basically the sole contender for us aussies!
When will idra give us a nice smile? I really hoped White-Ra would make it :-( Someone buy him a german beer and a pommes currywurst. It makes me so sad to see him lose.
This IEM Stuff sjows us that Take is not only a very Good player, an even better shoutcaster and a great Moderator/Entertainer.. Big Thx for such nice Content..
I already subscribed your Youtube Channel with some nice Videos.. And did i mentioned your streams ?

Incredible interviews bro, seriously. Much respect.
The interview with IdrA seemed really, really epic for some reason. I'm not saying the camera-work had nothing to do with it, but it was just really, really cool. Kudos, again.
IdrA is too good. Looking forward to seeing him in all of the upcoming events. And for all the poor souls who do not speak German I hope that someone will put up subs for these great clips, so that nobody has to miss out!
I'm over Day9 personally... He thinks he is sick. I just saw a thread that got closed asking if he's a diva? I think the answer is yes. He certainly thinks he is cool, that's for sure.

I don't know what TLO is talking about. His english is damn good considering it isn't his first language. Definitely good enough for international casting.
From what I saw Dennis is doing quite a lot better than last year, where pretty much every itnerview he did seemed like him trolling. Although admittedly those interviews did make me laugh :D.
Ace appears quite comfortable and confident. Considering he's never been to Europe before and all. The oGs guys, Squirtle etc. seemed to have had a harder time tackling the different environment.

Keep on the good work! Always love to see some output from you!
Moon is seriously a hero, I don't know if Reis was translating kindly or not, but if he wasn't...amazing interviews, almost seemed like Moon understood the interviewers who spoke English

I like Moon's pronunciation "soju"
Hahaha, if we start pronouncing his name as "soju" and Sjow goes to Korea to compete in the GSL, the Koreans are probably going to think "those foreigners really like to drink, don't they?"

Awesome content btw :-)
The english content is good enough I think. When in Rome, do as the Romans do.

He respectfully asked for space, and was denied. Can't really blame him for wanting the smallest bit of privacy. He's a person with needs just like anyone else.

We talked to him for about 5 minutes on Tuesday and took more pictures on Friday after the casts and you couldn't be more wrong. He is such an enjoyable, calm, friendly, normal and down-to-earth guy. He took so much time for everyone who wanted to take a picture with him or anything, even though he had casted all day and there was a huge crowd around him, waiting in line.
Also, Germany is nuts about him. The most cheering is going on when Day9 introduces himself, not when the players come on stage or a game is won. He has a huge fanbase here and justifiably so. Today for the Finals, they had to close the hall, because it was just too full. An incredible event!
Moon always looks like such a nice guy...seriously ^.^ His personality in SC2 made me look back at a lot of his old war3 games out of curiosity, and I definitely have not been disappointed.
Thanks Take for awsome interviews! Great to hear that at least one guy in esports pronounces Socke correctly XD. Translator beat the record of saying 'like' and 'and stuff' :D
