I would buy that. Unless it's some piece of shit with 19 pointless buttons and a bunch of flashing lights that change color based on your APM.

i hope it's a cheap quality mouse with no macros. just a really nice and simple mouse which gets the job done. I'm sick of buying over priced razer mouses or cheap and crappy genius/microsoft ones. i just want mouse around the $50 price range which has a nice dpi. PLEASE BE MY SAVIOR BOXER!!!

Unfortunately whether it's BoxeR helping design a mouse or not it's still Razer, it's probably gonna be a cheap looking glowing macro-intensive-16 button mouse lol.
It'd go with a Steelseries mouse, this one is only $40 and it's nice and clean/simple looking; http://shop.steelseries.com/us/index.php/mice-us/steelseries-kinzu-optical-mouse.html or you could go up to $80 and get the Xai which is even better.

They've already released a non-glowing, without 16 buttons, and is not a cheap looking mouse.
Also Kinzu has hardware acceleration which is annoying for a lot of players.

Glad Boxer has some more support now. That meeting in Boxer's Wings looks like it turned out well despite Intel being the main sponsor

Why wouldn't a company that makes "gaming" mice sponsor a progame team?Makes perfect sense to me. Although I had no idea such a team existed.
It sounds like they just got absorbed under the Slayers title though.

I'd buy it in a heartbeat. Cya later deathadder.

if you guys saw the boxer documentary, when they were talking about sponsorship, the person they were talking to had a notebook page with a razer logo on the top
|
I gotta say I've loved my Deathadder since the day I plugged it in. I've tried a lot of mice and that one stands head and shoulders above everything I've used.

sexy... looking forward to his games

SlayerS also has another sponsor, Intel right?

There is a brief interview on what this partnership will mean.
Here is the quick and dirty translation:
Source: http://www.playxp.com/sc2/news/view.php?article_id=2616167
Note: Min-Liang Tan is the CEO of Razer.
▲ First of all, congratulations on the contract! Can you tell us in detail what this means for the sponsorship of BoxeR and investment in Korean e-sports market?
Min-Liang Tan: There will be support through both products and money. We will put in careful consideration when we design products for use, that will fit well with the team's theme. It has been revealed that there would be 5,000,000 dollars over the period of 3 years, but this money isn't used for a singular purpose -- it includes sponsorship, players, and other extra spending. We cannot comment on exactly what we are spending money on.
▲ This is a second personal sponsorship. When will there be a team-level sponsorship? Also, it is known that Death Adder series are being in use, will that continue to be the case?
BoxeR: Looking at the StarCraft 1 market, I believe team-level activities have been rock stable. If we can have that same stability here, we will be in good position. As for the personal sponsorship, as seniors in this scene, I believe it is our job to bring the market to the same level as StarCraft 1. We are not sure what path to take right now, but we will do our best to make it a good one. As for the Death Adder series, it is already highly optimized. We are using it to the fullest extent. There are a lot of good mice choices available at Razer, and we plan to try out different products in the future.
▲ Although Razer's products are good, the public opinion is that people do not wish to purchase them due to the distributor being frequently changed. Any details on future plans for South Korea?
Min-Liang Tan: The reason we came to the Korean market is due to the fans. We are well aware of the complaints the fans have about that. We will correct the A/S and distribution problem in South Korea, as well as acquiring additional workforce. However, because we select bulk of our workforce from gamer population, we are running into difficulty finding a suitable person to hire. If you are interested, feel free to call us.
▲ Will there be BoxeR mouse or other new products like that?
Min-Liang Tan: We do plan to create more products in the future. As for the BoxeR brand products, hold onto your hats.
▲ What is the story behind Intel and Razer sponsorship?
BoxeR: I was impressed with the Razer Death Adder mouse at the BlizzCon, so I snuck one with me. I did talk to a Blizzard employee later about it, and looks like the news of it went all the way to CEO of Razer. I think that has been the catalyst for this.
▲ What are you doing now to improve the Razer brand? Any specific goals?
BoxeR: I've always thought Razer products are not as well-known as some other existing Korean brands. I believe my job is to improve the public opinions on Razer products, as a ... perhaps, a PR agent? As for being a progamer? The only thing I can do to show for that is the winning records.
▲ All in a month, two corporations have announced their sponsorship. Will there be more?
BoxeR: Intel and Razer alone is more than good enough for me. I am very grateful already. I don't think I should really be asking for more (laugh).

Whats wrong with the Abyssus? 3500 DPI mouse for right at $50, no extra buttons, no macros, etc. Not to mention Kraits and Salmosas are pretty easy to find if you look around a bit, and then for a little extra coin you get the DeathAdder, which has it's high reputation for a reason. Also, cheap and quality aren't two things that usually go hand in hand with mice. You usually get what you pay for, and ~$65 for the DeathAdder I've had since they were released and ~$70 for my Naga to me were both worth every penny. I'm willing to pay a little extra on a well crafted product to make sure the engineers behind it are rewarded for their work.
On topic though, nice to see Boxer and SlayerS as a whole get this sponsorship. Should mean good things for both parties. It'd be nice if Team Razer would clarify on their page that they aren't actually a team, and that they're a sponsor for other teams, it'd clear up a lot of confusion (I was scratching my head at first too till I found the SlayerS logo on their list of teams, which I also never found until tonight).
