eSports are becoming more and more like other sports. NHL? NHLPA! Now we have a Player's Association for eSports! Forgive me if this isn't the first time this has happened but to me this is new.

Hmm.. I support his first act. This is pretty cool though, nice to see theres a Player's Union.

Awesome thing they're doing for Violet.

It makes sense though if you think about it, Players don't have direct representation to major companies like GOM etc so an association would probably be in their best interest seeing as E-Sports is becoming more of a business like model
On another note i believe KESPA was the BW association(could be wrong)
OT: It's nice that they care about Violet, I wonder why only IM has to donate oO

KESPA are the sponsors.. they're basically the opposite to a players' union.

Because Junwi is on IM, I guess

Kespa represents sponsors or "management." This is needed very much although i hope Junwi and company get some good union law representation. As someone who works in a very strong union with the president as my captain, there's a whole world of things to learn there. That said, as long as the relationship between the players association and the governing body representing the teams, this can only be a plus for progaming in general.
I can't wait for legions of BW pros who aren't at the top tier, as well as promising B-teamers to switch over now, since i believe in BW, the lion's share of all the best treatment and money go to the top 5-10 guys. If they can get decent contracts, why wouldn't you make the career move?

maybe nestea was apart of the reason? he was on ky after all and Im has a lot of ex-be players who maybe close with violet

eh? the leader of a player association has to be a player no? Otherwise how would he be able to represents the players and be fully aware of their needs. It's like how Derek Fisher is the leader of the NBA player union ( not sure if still is but not important)

I thought that the players associations (e.g. NHL) have players in executive positions. The top guy could be someone who can negotiate well, so it might not be a player. I believe the NHL recently got Donald Fehr to be their leader and he didn't play hockey to the best of my knowledge.

The point is to have an union representative to the leagues.
