man that sucks! he was really starting to hit a good stride in WL too. this is awful :\

really hope he gets better, but he will most likely never play BW again, or at least not at his current level. man that sucks. lets just hope he pulls out of this OK though.

I hated Violet because he raped my FPL team but

I really hope he gets better. Losing a progamer this way would be sooo tragic. =/

really hope it's treatable and he makes a full recovery. Terrible news. Violet is an awesome guy and was good enough to give us an interview a while ago. Best of luck to him.

Oh my god, that is terrible. I quickly did a wiki search, and the survival rate is 20%-75%. That is terrible, please don't die on us Violet! Best of luck, and do whatever you can to get well. You are a great player, but more importantly even a better person. I don't think anyone wants you gone. Get well!

Poor Violet. I have known a couple really good people who have had their lives cut short by leukemia so I sincerely hope he can fight it and make a full recovery.

really bad news indeed.. wish him good luck for the chemo though..

it's curable, and according to wiki it's 80% chance for children, but for adults, i guess it will still be as high chances..
