It might matter for some people because they might need to go earlier / later if they are / are not given auto berth. I do think it is unfair if code A auto berth are only given to people currently residing outside Korea as it means you penalize Huk and Co for being in Korea to prepare. I hope you pick the top 4 players who are willing and able to go in terms of skill and not on location.

Because I am going to Korea soon and I want to participate. And how to register bla bla ? You should hold a high rank on KR Ladder in order to be a code b guy... but I think you are an exception becuz ur not korean.

Only sad thing to see is maps are still the same. Wish they'd go to bigger maps already.

Anyways, good to see that GOM is taking the initiative to bring more foreign players into the Korean SC2 scene and hope that this trend would also continue in other countries. Then pros will need to ladder more if they want to go here. You can't seriously expect GOM to subjectively evaluate every foreigner out there. That would first of all be a lot of work that they shouldn't be spending their energy on, and it would lead to plenty of complaints as well since they will never get it completely right.

We want as many foreign players participating in GSL as possible. So THANK YOU for helping in the things top end players use the GSL housing and practice computers, not everyone is on a sponsored team that can afford to send players to the GSL currently. Even a majority of NA sponsored teams still have issues with housing which is obviously one of the largest barriers currently to get more people to Korea to compete in the GSL.
