For those of you who are saying things like "he isn't that great right now" have to realize that he has a lot of motivation to be good at the game and wants to dedicate his future to it. With that kind of attitude, a good coach can get you on the right path to success. I think this is going to be great for him. StarTale is a very good team. Having someone like Rainbow to help him practice and learn from is only going to make him better.

I almost more surprised he got code A for making one round of 64 but still a bit shocked he would be picked up in Korea as hes barely even spent time there outside 2 weeks for GSL1 and now for GSL3.

Ok wait, so how can he be round A yet before GSL3 finishes? Aren't there more than 64 different inividuals over the full 3 seasons? So to have 32 S class and 32 A class, and TorcH has only one Ro64 showing, that's enough?

ro64 is not enough for code A, but the phrase "as a foreigner" makes me curious as to Gom's ranking process...are they giving affirmative action to foreigners as far as qualifying for GSL 2011?

32 get code s and 64 get code A so as long as no more than 96 unique people have qualified for GSL anyone who qualified gets code A

Trevor got the benefit of being in GSL 1 where they gave you Rank 2 for making it to Ro64 where in GSL 2 and GSL 3 you only get Rank 1 for Ro64.

So he is almost 100% going to be in the Top 96 and therefore be Code A.

It is actually smart for teams to get players that are going to earn Code A onto their teams and increase their visibility of their team.

Another thing to consider is he seems to be very well spoken and can help give visibility to the team here in the states and other English speaking areas.

Interesting I am definitely very surprised they picked him up hopefully he can improve his mid/late game as he has some good builds but his transitions are terrible and which is why he loses alot of games he shouldn't

From what i've seen of TorcH I quite like, albeit I haven't really seen him play at all. He seems like he really cares about e-sports and is very well spoken, and well mannered.

Cella was convinced that he didn't get code A though, and he is in pretty much the same situation as TorcH. Qualified for the first GSL, knocked out in the round of 64, didn't qualify for the other two. Not sure what the difference could be. Maybe one of them is mistaken.
