In legal terms what you just described, ie he tried, is called mens rea. It means what was the intent of the actor, the accused.
The fact is if the deliberate, conscious intent (again, that he "tried") was to molest, and he was in the beginning of the actual act of it, that is a crime. Those are the two main elements of this type of offense.
It will really depend on Korea law, but in NY I am fairly certain this is sufficient for felony criminal charges.
The law is typically not cruel enough to say, "well you tried to commit a crime, but failed, so no harm done. You can go free." It wisely doesn't work like that.

I think some people need to relax getting upset about idra's comment. The Werra team was known for their all-in style of play. You see the name, you know what to expect. That's all idra was talking about. It might be insensitive and selfish, but its not a big deal. Place your focus where it belongs, on the main story.

While I agree there is a place for cute puns it is not in a thread about a team captain trying to molest a young kid. Take the IdrA love to his fan page thread, he deserves no slack just because he is a consistent ass, the ban was justified.

I don't get what was so offensive about what Idra said. He even commented on it during GSL that when he faced the Werra clan he knew he would probably be facing some sort of 1 base play, which for the most part was true. His comment was just saying that its unfortunate that he will no longer have that advantage. Am I missing something here? I don't think all-in is any sort of sexual innuendo...

I love how the captain (allegedly) tried to excuse it as zipping them up so he "doesn't think I tried anything." As if you can sleep through someone grabbing your junk. Thoughts and prayers go out to the victim in this, I can imagine the betrayal is a lot to bear. Hopefully he and the rest of WeRRa can find a new house together, stick together and get through this together.
As for Idra and his attempt at being cute, that just made me lose what little respect I still had for him. Bet he wouldn't be so mouthy if his BW coach tried to grab his junk. So in the eternal words sung by Jon Stewart and a church group, go fuck yourself Idra, go fuck yourself.
