However, ever since i turned 13-14, i have never killed anything except mosquitos. When a spider or other critter is in my house i waste alot of time to catch and release it safely. | ||

I just let em chill, man. Except spiders, I carefully put them outside after a couple of days. I like spiders. Also, confession - probably because of Toy Story, as a kid I believed inanimate objects had feelings. I found it very difficult to throw anything away, my room was full of junk. Clothes shopping was really stressful because I saw the clothes sort of like children in an orphanage, anything I tried on had to be purchased as I couldn't bear to 'disappoint' the clothes. I knew it was absurd, so I never told anyone. To this day I still have a few of the things I couldn't throw away (2 glow in the dark dinosaurs, a hockey puck, a pair of shitty scissors that came in a children's art set, etc etc). | ||

Look at some of your old photos of you spending time with your family and tell me you don't care about them. As a child i used to catch (live) flies and cut their heads of with a razor blade, collecting all in a recipient. However, ever since i turned 13-14, i have never killed anything except mosquitos. When a spider or other critter is in my house i waste alot of time to catch and release it safely. I used to capture ants that crawled in my house in between legos and microwaved them. Now, sometimes I let spiders go to eat other insects, and sometimes let them outside because I know girls don't want to see me kill them. I don't think it's too fun to kill insects but I say it is to sound sadistic. I think I only have like four close friends. Not as bad a confession as I thought. One I've known practically my whole life and is also studying engineering, one is in my major, one was another childhood friend studying at the same school in a different major, and the last one lives in the same res as me. I didn't make many friends as close as them that I could confide in back in high school. Perhaps only one that I've since lost touch with. In fact when it came time for me to go to college, I knew that I didn't care about practically any of them enough to let them influence my college decision. I didn't care too much that I wouldn't see any of them again. Perhaps that's the way highschool->college is supposed to work. | ||
