I just honestly think Denver is getting too much hype with their easy road to the WCF. If Denver had to play the winner of Houston/Portland do you guys honestly see them going to the WCF? If so I'd love to hear an explanation besides lol Melo/Billups 2eZ.

RIP Larry H. Miller! This game was for you tonight... ![]() D Will just showed CP3 tonight... Jazz Fighting! + Show Spoiler + On February 23 2009 13:44 InfeSteD wrote: To all of you talking about Deron Williams... I think you do know about Basketball since you can actually grasp the reality about Deron Williams(since you see so little of him compared to CP3 <--Jordan Sponsord <--- Hyped in all major sports channels etc..)... I'd put my hands in fire and with no doubt say that everyone in the United States discriminates Utah for alot of reasons... The Jazz are never on ESPN top 10 regardless of what they do... Ive gone to games where Lebron and Kobe tear that shit up and Im almost cummin in my pants with their plays and D wills killer cross overs etc.. and they never show the highlights on ESPN or any major NBA channel... The only way I see the Jazz are in local channels... and proly like 3 times out of the whole year they ll play in TNT or something (without countin Playoffs which they dont play the same for some reason) so Im 100% if ur not from Utah.. you dont know who Deron Williams is ... and if u are a fan of him now by seein a lil of him.. then u d be crazy about him if u saw a lot of him on TV like u do of Kobe, Lebron, Howard, CP3... Im not bein a blind fan just cuz I like the Jazz but because Deron is better than CP3 all around in carrying the team(since they dont depend on him, he doesnt even shoot the ball at all and we all get mad in Utah about that), stronger in the paint, more focused and he dont give a shit about being a superstar (he said it in a game.. he said he didnt want to score more than 30 points because hes a PG and wanted his team to do the job and he just wanted to help out.. but he ended up scoring +30 in many games in a row nonethelss. Utah had the pick before Hornets and they decided to get D WIll instead of CP3 and it paid off... the Jazz if it wasnt for the injuries of Booz, D Will, Kirilikenko AKa all their supesrstars are as good as Stockton/Malone ages.. and last year we took Lakers to a 6th game and almost beat em to go to the 7th... I am almost 100% sure than if it would have been CP3 instead of D Will we had in our team, he wouldnt have made the diff D Will has... Summary: - Utahns are lookd down upon in the states (I have experienced it wherever I go) - Utah Jazz arent shown on ESPN regardless of what they do - CP3 is just a show every single time (he dont give a fuck and risks too many plays and everytime he matches himself with D Will he gets butt fuckd) THIS ^--- is a fanboy.

Well let's see what evidence we have before us: 1. The Lakers finished with the best record in the Western Conference this regular season by a sizable margin, 11 more wins than the Nuggets, who tied with the Spurs and Blazers for second. The Lakers finished the regular season with higher offensive and defensive efficiency ratings than the Nuggets. 2. The Lakers went 3-1 against the Nuggets, the last win coming about a week before the playoffs started and with the Nuggets in the midst of an 8-game winning streak. KMart didn't play, but it was Bynum's first game back after missing 30 games. The Lakers won by 14 points. 3. Kobe has consistently lit up the Nuggets in the past few seasons (or more), and continued to do so this season. The Nuggets have no one who can guard Kobe. Melo struggled against the Lakers in the first three games (partly because of an injured elbow), but woke up in the last game against them where he scored 23 pts on 16 FGA. Both are playing fantastically in the playoffs. 4. Both Billups (22.1 ppg, 7.3 apg, 3.3 3pg at 54%) and Gasol (18.7 ppg, 10 rpg, 1.9 bpg) have been having great postseasons and turned their respective teams into contenders when they joined them. 4. The Lakers went 15-5 in their last 20 games of the regular season, Denver went 14-6 for theirs. 5. The Lakers have faced the Jazz in the first round of the playoffs, and the Rockets in the second round. The Nuggets have faced the Hornets in the first round and the Mavs in the second round. 6. The Lakers made it to the Finals last season, and arguably have a better team than they did last year (this will definitely be true if Farmar continues to play well and Sasha remembers how to shoot). The Nuggets got eliminated in the first round last season, and undeniably have a MUCH better team than they did last year. Feel free to add additional facts, but these seem to make the Lakers out to be the logical favorites in a playoff matchup.

![]() I'll still root though! And I'm pulling for the Rockets. Just the fact that they could possibly beat the Lakers makes me a happy man.
