maybe there is, but as his argument goes.. if so many NBA GM's are just plain terrible, how could be possibly be any worse.., and I agree with that, maybe he'll be just as bad as any other GM, maybe he'll be really great. if you've already tried a bunch of options, why not him? =P
I personally would become a Minnesota fan if he became GM, and I'm sure they'd gain many thousands of new fans just because he was a GM there. they should look into it =P

if u listen to his most recent podcast, he made his case interesting arguments imo. bring in an outsider, at least get people talking about the team, SI articles about "can he do it" all that kind of stuff. at least invigorate the fan base

yes... that's what I based my first post on, his podcast !
BTW... leave it to J.A Adande to bring up race AGAIN (seriously 85% of his articles talk about race, SHUT THE FUCK UP MAN AND WRITE ABOUT SPORTS)
"League officials have gone too far the other way, and they also haven't changed with the times. One of the reasons the NBA had to crack down on fighting was because it was horrified by the scenes of African-American men fighting each other. It was judged much more harshly than fighting in the overwhelmingly white NHL. And it's not just the different traditions and cultures of the games, not when you hear old-school NBA players and coaches talk about how they used to settle things with their elbows and fists back in the day. No, the league in its desire to make the game mainstream tried to eliminate the image of the Angry Black Man."
God damn, I would clothesline Adande if I saw him, he's so fucking annoying. He's almost as bad a Jamele Hill or whatever the fuck her name is. Notice how she hasn't had an article on ESPN for a long time? They probably realized that she was terrible.
Time to can Adande, he's so damn annoying

Because of that and living in Michigan I can never, ever, ever, evvver get over what Jackson and Artest did. I wanted their careers to end after that. I still do.

celtics being destroyed like noobs

C's are pulling back..I'm gonna be so angry if the Magic let this one slip somehow. Eddie House is pretty nuts though.
Can someone tell me why in the NHL the refs don't try to break up the fight? Like that first clip up there, you can see the ref just watching and shit..wtf?

now orlando plays like noobs, did they just turn over the ball 5 times in a row
|
was that a question? the answer is yes. Orlando isn't playing very well but Boston is just playing like garbage.

lakers are playing great to start it... but I don't know why they stopped fronting Yao... that worked so well game 2.
|
who is this wafer guy? argues for getting taken out and never passes.
|
If yao can stay out of foul trouble and keeps shooting lakers are in trouble
|
it's incredible how Houston can play defense with fouling... I've never seen so few fouls called.. they're a really great defensive team
|
cept they have no one who can remotely guard kobe
|
uh battier + artest ? if there are 2 people in the NBA that CAN guard him, those are the 2.

when kobe's shots are falling, he is unguardable. but then again, that is a truism for every player, kobe is just that good of a shooter to make it happen for whole games at a time.

battier isn't athletic enough to stay in front of him. he's been going by him at will, they've had to rely on help side d
